The company has unethical billing practices. A subscription that I cancelled was never cancelled. Then they auto-renewed the subscription 6 months later and billed my credit card. They refused to refund the entire charge, even though I contacted them the same day the charge posted. After repeated complaints, they finally agreed to refund 1/2 the charge--even though I didn't even have the apps on my devices--or a password--and had never used the service.
DISHONEST AND EXPLOITIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES.
If I could give it a ZERO, I would. It was never explicitly understood that this was a SUBSCRIPTION. I found that this app did nothing for me so I deleted the app from my phone and never thought a second about it. 6 months later, with no emails, reminders, check-ins from the company, I was CHARGED for $82.50 for God knows what. I contacted them the SAME DAY that I was charged and they chose to gaslight me and give me the runaround. FRAUDULENT COMPANY PRACTICES to say the least
I was very hesitant to start off, now I look forward to my sessions. My food behaviour is improving, cravings have reduced dramatically and I eat when hungry, not just because! Have lost some weight, have a lot more to go. Thank you
6 months after my specific one product purchase I noticed a further payment of around £82 & immediately requested a refund which was rejected 3 times as it was beyond 30 days & cited T&Cs. I pointed out this was (UK law) unlawful as the opt in must have been a pre-set opt in. They offered 50% refund which I rejected & sent further evidence that their stance was unlawful. I could have used section 75 to reclaim as I'd paid with a credit card, or clawed back from my debit card if needed but I pushed again for a full refund & I've now received confirmation of this. NEVER ACCEPT SUBSCRIPTIONS OBTAINED IN THIS WAY.
Stay away!!! Unfortunately I did not read the bad reviews before opting for a 6 months course. I have just been charged for another 6 months without my consent. I checked on the app (apple) as well as the website it is impossible to cancel your subscription. I have sent messages and emails without any response from their support (non support would be a fair description). Extremely bad service!!!!
Update: why can’t your response via email be as fast? Please check your email. I can’t post my email on this platform for all to see!
I signed up for 6 months in November. Since the beginning of February I have been unable to access the course without paying a further £66 which is the cost of a 6 months course. I have attempted numerous times to have this situation remedied but no response at all
I am disappointed as I was enjoying the course and losing a bit of weight. Now I’m losing confidence in the course and its organisers. There is a great degree of trust required in hypnotherapy……. They have lost my trust.
The same calming, relaxing voice is a good thing to have. I’m getting used to hearing it. The messages are clear and memorable. I can think of them when I’m grocery shopping ; to remind me to buy healthy food, not junk. I’ll keep thinking that I want to be healthy & slim.
I did not see any results. I tried the first part and paid for it and was waiting for my subscription to end and then suddenly I had a charge for $82 for the renewal and they said that I never unchecked the renewal portion and that I could not be refunded my money. I no longer want this service and I’ve been going back-and-forth with them trying to get a refund. They’ve offered me a 30% refund, which is ridiculous most companies when you don’t want their services have no problem offering you a full refund back for the money that was taken. I am disputing this with their support and with PayPal stay away from this company.
I had the strangst conversation with the support team. I sent them this: "Dear Madam, Sir, I noticed that I have been billed 66 euro on Jan 11. I did not sign up for a renewal of the subscription. In fact, I was not satisfied with the product when I purchased it (and haven't used it for months)." That I'm not satisfied with the product has to do with the fact that all the programs are nearly identical, with the same easy method applied to relax you. I also didn't realize there would be an automatic renewal of the subscription!! Anyhow: this was their response: "As per our Terms and Conditions, refund requests must typically be made within 30 days of a charge. Unfortunately, as your recent charge from January 11 falls outside of this specified window, we are unable to process a refund for this payment." I responded by saying that it's only 17 days past Jan 11, so I am well within the 30 day limit for requesting a refund. Get this: I can't believe this response: "Hi An, Thank you for your follow-up message. I understand your calculation regarding the 17 days since your recent charge on January 11. Our records indicate that the eligibility for a refund, as per our Terms and Conditions, for this particular payment does not meet the criteria within the 30-day refund window. Therefore, we are unable to process a refund for this payment." WTF! Anyone seen the 'Computer says no' sketches of ittle Brittain??
Unacceptable support experience. It feels like I'm communicating with an automated system that doesn't grasp my frustration about being charged after I canceled my subscription. Despite explaining that I had signed up initially but canceled, I still ended up with another six months of charges! I've been stuck in a loop with the support team, and it's incredibly exasperating!
