I made a long trip for a minor repair, promised a call when the vehicle was ready, but received no call. Upon arrival, I was informed they hadn't even looked at my car and suggested I go elsewhere. I tried to raise a complaint but faced unhelpful responses from customer service. It's been two months of back-and-forth with no resolution. I took my car to another place and got it fixed quickly. Don't waste your time here.
I strongly advise against purchasing this vehicle — it has been a major disappointment. You expect reliability from a new car, but this feels outdated. It has numerous technical issues, including software errors and key fob detection failures. The air conditioning is faulty, and navigation is unreliable. The design is uncomfortable for typical roads, and the customer service has been dismissive and unhelpful.
I sent a detailed complaint about the poor service I received during a safety recall, but the company took nine days to respond with a vague answer about forwarding it to the dealership. I haven't heard back from them since. The vehicle was not ready as promised, and when I collected it, there was a terrible smell of petrol inside. Their lack of care is shocking.
Mixed experience here — my product's battery failed within warranty, and I received a charger instead of a replacement battery. I called customer service and spoke with a representative who was friendly and efficient, arranging for a new battery to be sent immediately. Good service overall, but I deducted a star due to the initial mistake.
Good cars but customer service absolutely dreadful booked a service which they contacted me wasn't due till November a mobilty service told them girl on phone I would need a courtesy car had hospital appointment got there for 9 as required took 1 hour in traffic then was told come back at 4 for car asked were was courtesy car oh we haven't got any i said i asked for a car because of hospital appointment and she seen i was in pain then said i would have to rebook and could wait on next booking because it only takes 1 hour for service just unbelievable this car as been a good motor but there service is bad from when I picked up wrong reg on car got surround by police in Manchester who done a t pac on us which terrified my wife who was driving and didn't drive the car for over 2 months would get a taxi instead they said oh sorry put wrong registration on car bring it in we will put the right one on and that was it service is disgusting just about money turn over
I had already phoned two Hyundai dealers but just couldnt get through to their service departments despite holding for long periods of time, got through to sales who said "they are busy call back" Phoned Hyundai customer service on hold 12mins then gave up. Contacted live chat absolute waste of time. Appalling, appalling service.
I am dissatisfied with my recent experience with Hyundai Customer Service. A dealership informed me that the warranty on my mother’s vehicle was void due to the annual service being delayed by six months. While I understand this policy may apply under normal circumstances, I am concerned that, despite providing context regarding our situation, Hyundai did not offer any alternative solutions or assistance.The circumstances were unique: approximately one month before the scheduled service, my mother was admitted to hospital with a serious illness. She spent around 8-10 weeks undergoing repeated admissions for life-threatening conditions. After a diagnosis was made, she underwent three months of intensive treatment in the new year. Once her health improved and she was discharged, we recognised that her car required servicing and arranged for it to be completed—albeit six months past the due date.As the warranty is void my mother cannot sell her car back to the dealership so has to keep paying the finance agreement or lose a lot of money selling the car privately and then paying off the loan
