I took the Hotel Manager course. I am no better prepared to be a manager now than I was before taking the course. Of the 7 chapters of the workbook included, two were related to what a hotel is and what a manager might do, but nothing on the practical day-to-day, nothing on actual management tasks and skills. The other five chapters were generic filler for resumes, starting your own business, job interviews, budgeting your new business, social media sources to consider, and other tripe. There was a lot of material on becoming a hotel management consultant, which begs the question, why would someone signing up for a hotel management course be remotely qualified to provide consulting services to an established hotel! Save your money and seek out other sources that offer legitimate and relative knowledge, and are ENDORSED BY HOTEL ASSOCIATIONS, which IAP Career College is not!
The process was quick,fast and easy. The learning materials were so easy to understand and you did not feel stressed out while taking the course. I felt prepared to start this next chapter and I am so appreciative of the experience.
I was able to complete the course in 3 days, it gave me the opportunity to learn at my own pace which was incredibly important for me. I learned everything I needed to know when it comes to cleaning business. From the budget, marketing and business plan, all the way to keeping clients and staff.
I did the freelance writing course and it was packed full of usedul information and sources for further study. Their support team is very friendly. The schedule is flexible and I could wait until I had more time to finish my course. i am very happy with what I learned from it.
