This is a relatively new and small business just setting out but boy did they deliver! The customer service was excellent (friendly, welcoming, responsive) and the campervan (a Renault Traffic) was perfect for two people travelling around Iceland. It was a spotless vehicle and was well equipped with everything you would need to cook, eat (either inside or out) and was extremely comfortable to sleep in. It was super easy to convert between the couches and the bed. There was lots of storage space too. We were picked up promptly from the airport and dropped back at the end of the trip. We were given some ideas for additional landmarks to visit for our itinerary and the explanation of driving in Iceland was very thorough. We highly recommend this company and wish them all the very best.

I cannot wait for my trip to start and I will review.My daughter and I just got home after driving a Iceland campers camper van for 3 weeks around Iceland and are very satisfied with both the vehicle, its condition, and the entire process with this company.Upon arriving at the airport, we were promptly picked up, and at the end of our trip promptly dropped off. Before taking the vehicle on the road, we were thoroughly informed about driving in Iceland, specific tips, and of course how to use the camper van and its various functionalities. Driving the camper van was very easy and the seats were very comfortable. I absolutely recommend Iceland Campers And wish them the best in their future business ventures.
My husband, son, and I just had the most amazing week traveling around Iceland on the Ring Road. We rented the largest camper (the five person camper) even though there were just three of us because we wanted the extra bed. The camper was perfect, and I can’t imagine exploring Iceland any other way. There was room for all our stuff and we loved that the lower bed converted into a table and benches. The beds were very comfortable. There was also a counter, an heater, and a small refrigerator. The heater kept the van toasty warm at night, and the fridge was big enough for all of our food and our beer! There were curtains that we could pull at night or for privacy, and they made it dark enough in the camper so that we had no trouble sleeping. We also had a table and chairs for eating outdoors, as well as a camping stove, a pot, a pan, and cooking/eating utensils. Eythor’s customer service was exceptional. He spent a lot of time going over all the things we needed to know for our trip (like how to pay the tunnel toll) and was quick to respond on WhatsApp when we ran into problems. He went out of his way to help us and even dropped us off at the airport hotel at the end of our trip. We highly recommend Iceland Campers and plan to rent from them again on our next trip to Iceland.
This was our first trip with a campervan so we didn‘t know what to expect, but we really loved it! Staff was very nice and helpful and helped us The camper was cozy and clean, and we didn‘t have to worry about getting cold at all at night, we only turned the heater on a little bit but still felt super warm. We (group of three guys) rented the camper for one week mid of April to travel around Iceland. WE HAD A BLAST!! The camper van is spacious and neat, changing from table to bed setup is super easy and quickly done. The owner is super nice and helpful, he has good tips about how get around and where to go, big thanks again at this point. We had such a good time. I would absolutely rent again and can recommend renting a camper from Iceland Campers.Take care and have fun :)
Absolutely amazing! We had the chance to spend 10 days exploring Iceland in a campervan that completely exceeded our expectations. There were three of us, and even though the space was compact, we never felt cramped – it actually became part of the adventure and the bonding experience.The van was spotless, well-maintained, and super reliable. We drove over 2,000 km through all kinds of weather – rain, snow, strong winds, and even some rougher roads – and it never let us down. The engine ran smoothly the entire trip, and fuel consumption was very reasonable.There was plenty of smart storage, which was perfect for all our backpacks, winter gear, and camera equipment. And of course, the freedom to park next to waterfalls, black sand beaches, glaciers… that’s priceless.Waking up every day to a completely new landscape was an unforgettable experience.We highly recommend Iceland Campers and the whole van life experience to anyone wanting to explore Iceland with freedom, comfort, and a real sense of adventure. We’d do it all again in a heartbeat.
One of the best vacations/experiences I have ever had. The camper had everything we needed for a trip in Iceland in March/April. We got the Grand Camper for the 3 of us and we could not be any happier. The heater was a life saver and lasted the all night, the bed was super comfortable, super spacious and cozy. Highly recommend having a road trip in Iceland with Iceland Campers!
Eythór was great to work with and was super friendly and informative about our van and everything we needed to be prepared for while driving around Iceland. The company had a great overview of information and services we may need during our trip and gave us many useful contacts/websites for safety. The Renault Trafic van did great in the mix of winter conditions and was a very new van with barely any mileage on it. The van had everything we needed for our 4 day road trip and was spacious for the two of us. The bed was easy to convert to/from the table setup. We would definitely book with Iceland Campers again in the future!
