sorry guys but i am on a fact finding mission my Dr tells me 1 thing and i am supposed to be able to afford 2 other separate opinions from different Dr's and i can not afford the Dr. i have now hehehehe. but i am home bound and need to get to work and your opinion is very precious to me i don't trust Dr's in general but if i have more than 1 opinion it helps alot thank you, thank you, thank you
At first glance this presents as a viable option for simple prescriptive medicine if you cannot see a primary care physician. The pitfall to this - which is not clear on their website - is that they do not issue prescriptions. They charge for "consultation" which turns out to be less informed and informative than "Dr Google". Every response in a conversation is classed as a separate "consultation" and charged as such. Or you could subscribe. But that billing isn't informative either so each "consultation" [e-message] could be classed as an "hour". I don't know. The moment i saw a charge being levied for the second message in a conversation my alarm bells went off and I got the hell out of there.Perhaps in places where there are no options this is a decent service but in the UK it's an over priced rip off. Here you are better served going to the NHS website and making a contact there or signing up to one of the big pharmacy sites.iCliniq told me nothing I did not tell them in my initial enquiry and provided nothing useful. The medical protocol they recommended & wanted to forward to my own physician [for an additional fee i have no doubt. But why would i want them to forward something to my GP for me to go see them about? If I could get in to see my GP wouldn't i just talk to them without the middle man?] was overdone. No clinician in UK would have prescribed such a huge combination of medications for a simple ailment. My first message told them I needed a prescription issued and asked directly if they could provide this.My paid message asked for the prescription again. At no time did ANYONE respond that they do not issue prescriptions. Not until I pushed it with a full complaint. It's clear this is a simple tactic to keep you talking and rack up the charges.I have deleted my account. If you are in the UK don't bother with this site. There are better options available, cheaper or completely free, who can do more and offer practical help.-----------UPDATEExpected soft soap PR Reply that is meaningless. When someone asks TWICE if a company can issue a prescription and the company representative TWICE fails to answer that direct question the rest is not a matter of conjecture or a failure to read "FAQs"Add to that consultation information less than that available on easily and freely available sources and medicine recommendations no UK doctor would agree to and the value of this service is simple to judge.I deleted my account for a reason----------------------UPDATEMore soft soap PR in the edited reply, but isn't it funny how the apology and thanks only happens now I've gone public, but in private they fobbed me off, and have never once offered a refund for effectively charging me to tell me what I'd already told them while actively NOT answering the question about issuing a prescription? It is important to note that had they answered that in the response to the "free" initial reply I'd have simply gone elsewhere and not lost a penny. Instead I paid for them to repeat a doctor google answer about a simple dental question at odds with current NHS standard care by recommending over-medication.I deleted my account for a reason-----------
