I purchased a single passport photo for €2.80 on id-photo.pro and paid with my bank card. Three days later, the website charged me an additional €39.90 without my consent. I did not subscribe to any service, accept any membership, or authorize recurring payments.This practice is misleading and feels intentionally deceptive. Their website did not clearly show any subscription terms or follow the mandatory EU requirements for transparent, explicit consent (“double opt-in” for paid subscriptions).I have contacted the company and requested an immediate refund based on EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and PSD2 rules on unauthorized payments.Until this issue is resolved, I strongly advise others to be very cautious when using this website.

Total scam

Total scam. Do NOT use. Ordered £6.90 photo ID and 2 days later was randomly charged £39.90. I had no idea what this was for but it appears to be for a subscription I did not knowingly sign up for.

Unauthorised subscription

I purchased a passport photo for £2.90 to have it in the correct format for the application. It is not. Therefore not fit for purpose and can not be used. Not only that, but I have now been charged £39.90 for a mystery subscription that I was not aware of or authorised. So very disappointed in the service and will see how good their customer service is, as I have requested a refund.
