Unreliable service

A new startup allowing online bookings with various dealers to fix cars. They claim to partner with garages adhering to strict quality standards. However, I reserved a timing belt change and paid a 10% deposit. My appointment was confirmed for two weeks later, but after three days, it remained 'to be confirmed' on their site. When I called, they suggested the garage might not check their emails, and promised to call me back, which they didn't. After waiting, I contacted the garage directly and learned my appointment was 'not available.' They mentioned their slots aren't updated frequently. Now, I'm trying to recover my deposit. The concept is good, but the execution is frustrating and ineffective. I wasted a week waiting for an unavailable appointment. UPDATE: Lowered to two stars because I received my 10% deposit back.
