We were approached by Impellus to make use of Government funding (TAX PAYERS money) by buying credits in advance. Combined this was a lot of money.I can't see any record that we were sent the T&C's originally, but we were advised that if we didn't book a course each year that we would lose 1 credit each year. Due other priorities we were unable to book a course within a 12-month period, but due to unclear communication and a lack of transparency around changing terms, our account was closed and credits removed without proper notice.Despite repeated requests for clarification and resolution, we’ve received no satisfactory response or evidence of the original agreement. As a small business, we expect fair treatment and accountability—sadly, this experience has been disappointing.We are taking further legal and government funding advice.
Got an email promoting a course that would normally cost £3k however they're doing a regional discount so the price is only £600 - what a bargain.... However when looking into it, an ILM accredited course at level 3 is only £800ish from multiple other providers. This smacks of a dishonest promotion to get customers and/or customer details. Interestingly, Impellus offer the ILM course at the cost of £2,700. I can't find anything on their website to justify the additional £2k they want to charge. Maybe it's to offset the cost of sending these emails.....
I’ve completed 5 course with impellus and taken so much away from them. I’ve taken my learning and given my team a better more confident manager with skills from each course and members on the course from diverse backgrounds also. I would very much recommend impellus to those who want to learn more management skills and those who want to be leaders.
great courses and trainers with real life experiences. keeping everyone engaged even through a zoom meeting and making sure everyone is taking part. Also offers different levels of training which will work for all different types on industries.
I've recently finished my third course with Impellus, specifically the Coaching Skills for Managers course led by Austin.Austin's delivery style was calm, relaxing, and highly informative, instantly putting me at ease throughout the session.The content was presented visually and with clarity, making it easy to grasp and enabling me to glean valuable knowledge from the session.Booking through the Impellus business center was straightforward, and the support provided was equally commendable.I highly recommend it! :)
the support for my ILM level 5 course has been appalling. Having to wait 8 weeks for feedback on assignments, which is so disruptive to the studying process. I also received differing advise and suggestions after each submission as different tutors marked my work.The portal for uploading assignements is also terrible especially when you need to make amendments. Uploading word or PDF documents would be so much easier. I would not use this company again for training unfortunately.
