Review Time
I used this service four times, and each experience was more frustrating than the last. The first provider dismissed my concerns about lymph node pain and suggested ibuprofen, laughing when I mentioned I couldn't take it due to breastfeeding. My second attempt resulted in a promised prescription that never came, leading to another missed day of work. The third call was for a UTI, but the provider only wanted to discuss breastfeeding, ignoring my actual need. The fourth time was for my child; although the provider could see us, we couldn't see her, and she blamed us without attempting to resolve it. I'm still waiting for a doctor's note for school that was supposed to be issued immediately. The note I received was poorly done and misrepresented my consent. Overall, this service has been nothing but negative, and thankfully, I have access to a different telehealth provider.
This service is truly a waste of time. If your company offers it as a benefit, consider it a joke. They claim to reduce the administrative burden on healthcare needs, but instead, they add stress and complications as you navigate the already complex insurance system. They struggle with provider referrals, transferring medical records, and scheduling issues. Working with them is nothing but a headache. I strongly recommend avoiding this service!
I've had four frustrating experiences with this service. The first provider dismissed my concerns about lymph node pain, suggesting ibuprofen and laughing when I mentioned I was breastfeeding and couldn't take it. The second time, I was promised a prescription for an acute issue but waited five hours without receiving it, leading to another missed day at work. On my third call for a UTI, the provider focused on breastfeeding instead of addressing my actual need. The fourth experience was for my child; while the provider could see us, we couldn't see her, and she blamed us for the issue without trying to fix it. Now, I'm still waiting for a doctor's note for school that was supposed to be issued immediately, only to receive a poorly signed note claiming I hadn't consented to share information. This service has been nothing but negative for me, and thankfully, my insurance allows me to use a different telehealth provider.
The customer service representative I encountered was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her attitude was unacceptable, and I have no idea how she remains in her position. This interaction was disappointing and left me questioning the quality of the service.
I've only had a few positive interactions with knowledgeable representatives. Most of the time, the customer service reps lack sufficient health industry knowledge. In my last experience, I needed help finding an in-network imaging facility for a specific scan, but I received misleading information. Often, I end up solving my issues directly with providers instead of relying on this service. Despite their politeness, I find them mostly unhelpful unless I get a more experienced representative.
It's disappointing that when people need help the most, this service opts out of accepting Medicare Part B for behavioral and mental health issues. While I understand there may be limitations for medical issues, mental health is approved through Medicare Part B. I've confirmed this with Medicare multiple times. After years of seeing a therapist through this service, I can no longer do so thanks to their decision. I will not be leaving a positive review anywhere. It's shameful to prioritize profits over people.
Don't waste your time or money. I spent an entire week trying to track down an imaging order after speaking with a provider. It involved numerous long calls, being placed on hold, and repeating the same questions. As a provider myself, I'm incredibly disappointed in this service and the time it wasted. Even when they finally agreed to send the order, they claimed they had to wait for the phones to open, despite it being a fax machine that operates 24/7. The excuses for delays were frustrating, and it’s clear that this company is not legitimate.
This service is worthless. They claim to be a liaison between patients and insurers but offer no real value beyond directing patients to their website. Expect long waits for referrals to specialists and unclear answers about provider networks. It's simply too complicated for them to figure out. This company provides no tangible benefits to patients, and contacting the insurer directly would be much more effective.
This service is not very inclusive regarding accepted insurances. A representative informed me that they no longer accept certain Medicare Advantage plans. If I wanted to proceed with a virtual visit, I’d have to pay out of pocket. It seems like a poor business decision, and given their low ratings, I doubt they will remain in business much longer. This service has disappointed me since it took over from a previously reliable provider.
I faced a couple of issues this week with scheduling, but when I reached out to support, I was pleasantly surprised by the quick response. Andrew from tech support was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He assisted me in processing my refund due to the glitches that caused my scheduling problems. His support was a refreshing change, and I hope he receives recognition for his excellent service.
