I reserved a camper for Tenerife that was listed as available, but then the support team notified me that it was not available. They suggested alternatives, I selected one, and then was informed it was also unavailable, and this pattern continued. We had purchased our plane tickets based on this reservation, believing the vehicle would be available. A major mistake! In conclusion: the availability information on the platform is unreliable, and the camper owners do not seem to take it seriously. This leads to a lot of wasted time and effort.
The window detached after 100km of driving, and I reported it but received no response, then was charged for the repair. The toilet leaked, and I was informed it had a faulty cassette, making it unusable throughout the trip. The fridge didn’t work, forcing me to stay in motels during the 14-day journey from Brisbane to Perth. Choose a better service; it will be more economical in the long run.
Nelson at the check-in was great! The same goes for the person who did our checkout. Customer service was prompt before the pickup - really class service. the vehicle however could be better serviced. it was apparent the vehicle was somewhat overdue for maintenance. some of the drawers didn't close properly, AdBlue was needed almost an hour after leaving the pickup site, but worse of all the power cable broke and we spent a good few hours trying to buy a new one. It wasn't bad, but it could have been a bit better and let us focus on our vacation and less on simple maintenance.
