Terrible experience, feels like a scam

I have been buying this insurance for my parents for a while now and this year we got to visit a doctor's office for the first time and the experience was horrible. The plan was INF elite premier which is the most expensive one and yet the UHC card was not recognized at provider. The number on the back of the card did not connect us to UHC, but to Robin Assist which probably is their claim handler that said the policy is not enrolled yet and it would take 48 hours to enrol. Lots of chasing them and somehow insurance card was entered in the system after 2 days and not there are so many issues. The provider keeps telling me about one issue or the other. I have spent countless hours chasing Robin Assist over phone. Now I got a letter from provider that the insurance claim was denied because date of birth doesn't match. There is some random date that shows up in insurance records. I am tired and would not recommend this company to anyone. It would have been much cheaper for me to pay out of pocket. This feels like a scam to me. Not sure if they care about their reputation. I find their practices deliberate to discourage claims.

The best travel plan you can have

The best travel plan you can have. There are many plans now available for travelers than before. I did a lot of research and spoke with several reps. Some plans are too good to be true of the coverage they seem to imply. What I found at infplans.com is that they are honest in telling somethings are not covered and some things covered and yet other things vary by circumstances and medical records.. which is expected. In my case, my mom has high BP and takes medication. I am looking for a plan that cover pre-existing conditions for doctor visits as well as any major issues. None of the plans I spoke with cover doctor visits but they say they would cover in case of emergency. I decided to INF Elite program which has covered urgent care visits of my mom without any issue. I am not sure why people think that they can buy an insurance after their visitor got sick and expect the insurance guys cover it and then use the social media to write bad and worthless reviews without revealing all facts. I spoke to INFCS reps and they indicated to me as long as you buy before arrival with good intentions (i.e do not cheat on the form with wrong date of birth or arrival date etc), they cover. That is why I went ahead and bought the plan before my mom came and no issues of coverage. I recommend everyone to buy the plan before visitors come to avoid denial of claims.

Did not cover bills

Purchased INF Premier for my mom (member ID ending in 9299) visiting from June 2023 till Feb 2024. We only needed one ER visit during this time. INF told us in Feb that all bills had been settled. However, in June'24 we are finding that the insurance only paid $500 from the approx $5k ER bill. The Premier plan is supposed to cover up to $100k and $15k for pre-existing conditions!! Unfortunately hospitals end up taking a loss in cases like this. RobinAssist which was always chatty and available during plan purchase and doctor referrals is now nowhere to be found.

Good experience using Inf elite

Good experience using Inf elite. It was quite costly about $4900 for six months for both of my in-laws. My father-in-law unfortunately had a syncope And they covered it fully. The folks at Robin Assist were also super helpful.Definitely worth the money if you are wondering, would use them again!, Thank you INF!

Fraudulent company INF Hop Travel and Robin Assist

I took insurance for my father in law visiting for 3 months recently, unfortunately he had a fracture in his T8 and then he was denied any kind of help.Inf insurance will trip you over after they take money from you, before selling they will tell you all kind of things and sell post sale service is pathetic.I had suffered a great loss, i paid 2500$ for their travel and the call their plans as not Insurance rather Travel assist this means you are at mercy of their hidden door reviews (medical team) Robin Assist team is the one who coordinates with you and they are partner in the crime with Inf Insurance. I suffered enough and i am paying out of pocket and still struggling to get any support, all they say is send them back to India for a better treatment.Note: My father in law is 77 yo and yet they sold the insurance at a higher premium rate despite of knowing complications they would come with. Now question is if you are only planning for a safe travel back when you are in an emergency they say the will cover some Flight reservation charges, etc.. this is all bulls**t .. Please dont fall for this company its the worst company you can imagine . i dont know if they will cover for any change in travel or

My parent visited me for the first time in the USA

My parent visited me in the USA for the first in Xmas, we had INF Elite 80% plan with united health care network, and my dad has high blood pressure, we like the Robin Assist helped us to make the appointment which made the trip much easier, we used the urgent care, and he got the prescription to stabilize his blood pressure. I am glad we bought the INF plans insurance for them, so we don't need to worry about how to visit doctor.
