The contract is extremely unfair. You are required to pay the full amount upfront, and if you are dissatisfied with the service, obtaining a refund is nearly impossible. The service itself is superficial and provides little actual support. The essay counselor has no real control over the quality of service. If you are unhappy, you may be reassigned to someone even less capable, or your case may be escalated directly to the legal department without any prior communication.
It appears the company relies heavily on its legal team and is unconcerned with reputation. Attempts to seek solutions or more helpful support are typically met with a firm “that’s all you can have” response, along with a warning that if you remain dissatisfied, the legal department will contact you.
The essay counselor is essentially a black hole: unpredictable and lacking oversight. While they may claim to offer a replacement counselor if you are dissatisfied, in practice they often assign a part-time or inexperienced counselor, which can result in even worse service. If you continue to be unsatisfied, obtaining a refund becomes effectively impossible, and you are then handed over to the legal department with no discussion.
