This platform is great, but the credit system detracts from it. I didn't pay for the AI features, which I'm glad about. You start with 150 credits, but once these are used up, you must pay at least $37 per month to keep using AI credits. A better option would be to allow purchasing the credits needed instead of committing to a $37 monthly fee. Alternatively, a lower-cost AI credit tier for low usage would be beneficial. You think you're making a one-time purchase for the AI features, but to access them, you must agree to a significant monthly fee, which isn't clearly communicated. I can still use the service without the AI features, but that was the upgrade I intended to make, and now the platform won't fulfill my original goals.
At first, I was disappointed with my experience and requested a refund. However, the way the team addressed my concerns completely changed my outlook. They responded quickly, listened attentively, and provided clear, helpful explanations. Their transparency about the credit system was particularly impressive. Creating and rendering videos with the built-in library, previous doodles, or uploaded images doesn’t use credits. Credits are only needed for generating new custom doodle elements, custom AI voiceovers, or when using the AI Wizard for managing a project. This system fairly addresses additional computing costs without raising prices for everyone. While I haven't explored every feature yet, the professionalism, clarity, and support I received make me feel confident that sticking with the service is worthwhile. I'm excited to use it more.
It seems like a good deal... Then you purchase your exciting deal with many cool features, and the first page you see after buying is the 'Join the Premium club for $70' to access what you thought you just purchased. After that, you have the option to buy even more of what you thought you paid for, but didn't. That low introductory price is a 'gotcha' that doesn't deliver half of what they promise until you buy the super premium add-on package.
The business employs misleading ads, omitting crucial information and using aggressive sales tactics to promote their app. They upsell various services after you make a purchase. They claimed no fees for the lifetime deal, yet I'm now required to pay subscription fees to use the app's AI features. I've saved the ad copy and reviewed it thoroughly but found no mention of needing to pay for AI functions. You realize you must purchase AI credits like a subscription model, which is misleading and withholds information while promoting lifetime deals. If you're offering a subscription, it should be clearly stated on your landing page. This business's approach is fundamentally deceptive. I reached out to the support team, but their responses were standard and offered no real solutions like refunds or AI credits. Initially, I didn't use the app much, so I didn't realize they were selling subscriptions disguised as lifetime deals. Now that the trial period has passed, I have to pay for AI credits because I trusted their advertisements and didn't use the app early on. Shame on you for betraying people's trust; this isn’t marketing, it’s a breach of trust that can’t last long.
Terrible product. They present an 'all-inclusive package' with a 'one-time payment,' but when you try to use basic features like AI voiceover, they charge extra. The graphics are very basic and not worth the cost. Customer service is nonexistent. They show no interest in helping or supporting, only in deceiving customers. I am currently pursuing legal action to obtain a refund, which they have refused. AVOID.
They claim it’s a one-time purchase, but it’s paywall after paywall after paywall if you want to access what they actually offer. It’s as predatory as it gets. The system only allows for 3000 character generation, so don’t expect to create a full video, just shorts. The rendering is also extremely slow. They state: 'No free trial, but 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.' When I requested a refund, the first response was: 'Why are you refunding? We can offer you pro access instead, are you okay with that?' In summary: Everything on their website is misleading; they just scam people, thinking karma doesn't exist.
