The price point on my yearly European cover was excellent and unlike some policies included places like Morocco, Canaries,Egypt that were not included in other companies policies.
Downside the incessant e.mails ,even though I've requested them to stop and getting charged £15 a go to make any changes.
Having visited nearly 100 countries over 45 years I found myself in a position to claim on my insurance for the first time. Handled by a different company the experience was mediocre. First two calls had me waiting for a combination time of 63 minutes before the line went dead😡 third time lucky the gentleman was helpful and easy to understand.Process was online and fairly simple but what with the cost of the excess,tax, and Drs letter my outlay of £270 was reduced to £125 net.
So I suspect I will return to my usual provider next year (Stay sure) even if a little more just to get rid of them tedious e mails.!!

I’ve been insured with Insure and Go (Silver Package) since last year and, until I needed to make a claim, my experience had been positive. Customer service is responsive at a surface level, but unfortunately that changes once a claim is involved.
Claims are outsourced and not handled directly by Insure and Go, which makes it extremely difficult to speak to someone who has the authority or understanding to genuinely help. The claims processor is hard to reach, and communication feels fragmented and impersonal.
I submitted a claim and then an appeal, both of which were rejected on the basis that cancellation due to power supply issues is “not specifically mentioned” in the policy wording. Strikingly, this exclusion is also not listed in the section titled “What is not covered”. If a scenario is neither explicitly covered nor explicitly excluded, it raises serious questions about how a customer is expected to reasonably interpret the policy.
This experience has made me question the value of travel insurance if legitimate claims can be rejected simply because a scenario is not explicitly listed in the policy wording. I would encourage Insure and Go to reconsider how claims are evaluated and how clearly coverage limitations are communicated.
I was not notified that you have now used an automatic autorenewal process on your policy and missed the 14 day cooling off period, I only noticed when my bank statement came through that you had taken £175.54 out of my bank. I have complained and closed my policy and have lost £79.00 which i can ill afford to do. I have been with you for years and am so disappointed with your service now so wont be coming back.
They took my money, and then someone who appeared to be inexperienced took a bit more. A few days after returning from my trip, the policy arrived. I requested a refund, but instead, I was presented with a new concept. If you find yourself in a hospital bed abroad and your insurance papers are missing, they assure you, 'you are still covered.' What a frustrating experience!
