My experience with the company has been fantastic. The course helped me transition into IT and secure a position as a First Line Support Engineer. I'm currently enrolled in the Network Engineer course and successfully obtained my CCNA using their materials and additional resources. It was challenging to juggle this with a full-time job, but the effort was worth it. Now, I'm moving on to the next stage of the course for advanced networking training and further certifications, and I believe the support will continue to be excellent. I'm very satisfied with the course and the assistance provided and would recommend this company to anyone interested in entering the IT field.
Last year, I considered switching my career to Project Management and used my Christmas bonus to fund this course. I want to warn others about the potential waste of time and money. Here's my experience: The traineeship consists of 3 steps: Step 1.) Online courses. Step 2.) Practical projects. Step 3.) Exams (Agile and Prince2).In Step 1, the online courses involved watching videos that were poorly generated, causing interruptions and jumbled sentences. Without a transcript, I had to pay for an app to understand the content. The only positive is the ease of cheating on tests, so I suggest skipping the videos and just retaking the tests. There's no community support either. The videos reminded me of dull workplace safety training that nobody pays attention to. I wish the company would review the Prince2 videos as they are confusing without written material. Step 2 involved unrealistic projects with many assumptions. Be aware that a verbal assessment was not mentioned in the course outline, but you can complain and be exempted. Step 3 was frustrating—if you fail your Agile or Prince2 tests, retaking them costs £500 unless you purchase a 'Take2' option for £160. This feels like a financial trap, and the actual 'Take2' price through the examining body is only £95. The mock exams are also poorly structured, not allowing you to review questions or answers afterward. The welcome pack misleadingly states exams can be taken at approved centers or online, but you must do it from home, and the company failed to communicate recent policy changes properly. It’s frustrating that the company won't take accountability for the course content since they outsource it. If you bought a product that was faulty, the seller would be held responsible, and the same should apply here. Some reviews seem suspicious, and I've noticed one-star reviews disappearing. I’m considering legal action due to their poor communication. I strongly advise against purchasing anything from them.
Had great experience speaking to Beverley K today who managed to arrange my exams i forgot to book due to personal issues. Alleviated all my stress and really resolved my issues. Very grateful and thankful to have signed up to a company who have some human empathy :-)
