Currently at the placement stage of my Cyber Security Traineeship. I have passed my CompTIA A+ exams and am starting in an entry level IT job next month. Overall I’ve had a good experience dealing with members from IT career switch, shoutout to Kati from Recruitment. Kati helped me a lot with sending relevant job listings each week and also helping me with pointers on how to draft cover letters etc. 5* for this! A few things which prevented me from giving 5 stars overall are; -Any communication during the studying phase had to be initiated by me, no one reached out to see how I was getting on or offering help. If I asked a question it was promptly answered, I just felt like I was on my own for most of it. - I was disappointed during the recruitment stage as jobs I heard back from were all from ones I had applied to myself. I didn’t hear from any companies from IT career switch’s “internal network”.I look forward to the next stages of my Traineeship and progressing into Cybersecurity down the line.
