I had a web check-in issue and planned to arrive early on 21-Feb-2026 to be safe.
Unsure, I contacted ixigo and requested a callback. Agent Harpreet Kaur called back; she found Indigo marked all 6 passengers as NO SHOW because the travel date was wrongly set to 21-Jan-2026 instead of 21-Feb-2026. I explained I booked round-trip tickets (21-Feb departure, 27-Feb return) via ixigo, which were correct, but Indigo's email had the wrong date. The issue was escalated to Ritik Kumar, who promised a callback in 2 hours. After no response, I followed up with Sanam/Sowmya, who arranged a supervisor callback. Tanu then called and resolved the issue in 30 minutes, confirming our tickets. I appreciate their support that eased my anxiety.

This was my first time reaching out to customer support, and sadly, it became the most frustrating experience I've encountered with any travel app. My concerns extend beyond just the Alternate Travel Plan policy; it's also about the way the agents managed the conversation: The support representatives seemed unsure about the company's own policy. I had to explain the policy multiple times, yet they remained inflexible and showed no effort to grasp my concerns. Responses took around 10 minutes, but despite this, my chat was abruptly closed with the claim that I wasn't responding, which feels completely unjust. The agents' tone was disrespectful and dismissive, lacking any intention to resolve my issue. Such conduct is highly unprofessional and unacceptable for a platform I once trusted. Customers should not be penalized for vague policies and inadequate agent support.
A representative from the support team resolved my issue within just 5 minutes after our conversation, while everyone else I spoke with since December 18 had me waiting for 24 hours, then 12 hours, then 8 hours, and so forth. I was quite frustrated until this fantastic individual stepped in.

My interactions with the representative over the past two years have been very positive; he is always helpful and proactive. Tasks assigned have consistently led to satisfactory outcomes, even when issues were outside his scope. My experiences with the brand have been consistently enjoyable. Keep up the excellent work!
Their alternate travel plan seems to be a complete scam. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, as it appears to be a method to deceive and extract money from users. They charge per person during booking, but if one person is confirmed, everyone loses their funds. It feels entirely unreliable and deceptive.
