Unsatisfactory experience. I booked a truck listed as automatic on the website, only to find that only a manual transmission was available upon arrival. The clutch was difficult to operate. Just avoid it. I provided feedback on my experience and the response was basically that automatic vehicles are first-come, first-served and overall 'tough luck.'
Caution advised & read the fine print carefully. Our vehicle was booked through an organization with a named driver. There were four adults and four suitcases, and the booked car was suitable for that number. Upon arrival, we were offered a vehicle that was neither the one we booked nor similar. The representative was aggressive and insisted that a smaller, inadequate vehicle was assigned to us. After 20 minutes of frustrating attempts to demonstrate our needs, the originally ordered car finally arrived, and was not 'broken' as we were told. An excessive bond of $2000 was required before we could get the keys. Not a pleasant experience, and one I wouldn’t want to repeat, so I will not be using or recommending this service.
I traveled to New Zealand for Christmas and needed a vehicle. This service was significantly cheaper than the larger companies. We were picked up at the airport, had a short trip to their depot, a quick orientation, and then we were off. The SUV was in excellent condition, low mileage, and exactly what we expected and paid for. Returning the vehicle at the other location was smooth, with no issues or waiting, even though it was off the airport site. Highly recommend as a cost-effective alternative.

They also display discriminatory practices; the owner fired local staff to hire others on visas for exploitation. It was a reputable company before the change in ownership, but now it's among the worst. Avoid giving your money to this company.

It’s impossible to drive safely without understanding the safety instructions or how to operate the navigation system. The contract states that renters are responsible if instructions are not followed, but we couldn't comprehend them. After much discussion, the contract was canceled after three hours. While the local manager was helpful, the overall experience was very unpleasant. It’s advisable to read the fine print and be cautious of aggressive tactics. This service may save a few dollars, but it could also lead to significant issues.
