My previous review was incredibly harsh due to the state of the pokemon card hobby, likening J2UK to scalpers and the like. While I personally disagree with their pricing model on some particular sets like 151 and some new releases such as the travesty that was their £180 Japanese Destined Rivals release (£25 more than an engish booster box for a modern Japanese set is genuinely unbelievable), they have proven themselves as a trusted and genuine seller of fair and (mostly) under market Japanese/Korean/Chinese pokemon cards.My prior review (04/07/2025) was 1 star to mark the laughable pricing of their destined rivals release, but I am updating to 4 stars as 95% of their stock is at a price matching or under current market and are genuinely the best place to obtain asian pokemon cards in the UK.It would have been 5 stars if not for the outlandishly high pricing on their new set releases such as Destined rivals, and the fact they tried to have my last review removed as "defamation" which TrustPilot rejected.
I have made multiple purchases from Japan2UK and they have been dispatched and sent swiftly and packaged well. Their Service is First Class, with great products, good prices and outstanding customer services which I have appreciated immensely. Many more purchases will be made, as when you find a company that is as reliable and fantastic as Japan2UK every purchase is a pleasure.
