I ordered two items online on December 12th as Christmas gifts. Each day without a delivery update made me more anxious since I needed the package before December 24th. After no updates, I contacted customer support on December 22nd, only to find out they didn’t have the necessary color in stock and wouldn’t be getting it soon. Now it’s January 3rd, and I still haven’t received the items and will likely wait another week. Despite my patience, my order is taking at least 18 days instead of the promised 3-4 days, and the recipient hasn’t received her gift. The most frustrating part is that I had to reach out to the support team myself; otherwise, I would still be unaware of the stock issue. Overall, this has been a very disappointing shopping experience.

I ordered a Black Friday deal, and it turned out to be a great deal for the company. They took my payment but have yet to ship my order. Their response about 'higher volumes' is not acceptable; they shouldn’t offer deals if they can’t fulfill orders by Christmas.
The customer service is incredibly poor. It sounds dramatic, but I can’t think of another way to describe it. They respond to reviews here to improve their image but fail to respond to emails in a timely manner. When they do reply, it’s often a generic response with no apology. Many customers share my experience—orders placed from mid-November through Black Friday haven’t shipped by December 18. They claim they received more orders than expected and don’t ship on weekends, showing no concern for their advertised delivery promise. It’s frustrating to be left without either the products or a refund. I used to be a satisfied customer, but this company has changed for the worse.
I ordered three gift kits, which included three sets of knitting needles and all the wool, but only one set of sewing needles, label, and instruction sheet. Everything was packed in one box, making it difficult to divide for gifts. Now, they aren’t responding to my request for the missing sewing needles.
I’ve ordered from this company before and loved their yarn quality. However, UK buyers should be cautious! Although my yarn arrived and I was initially happy, I later received a call from DHL demanding £47 on a £174 order. After requesting an invoice, I was threatened with court action a month later. The fee included VAT and an additional charge from DHL. Other suppliers handle duties at checkout, avoiding unexpected costs. The yarn is excellent, but the hidden duty/VAT information on their website feels misleading, significantly increasing the total cost. I’ll choose a more transparent UK-based supplier next time.
The customer service is fantastic and surpasses any previous experiences I’ve had. It fosters loyalty and somewhat justifies the costs of this new hobby. It’s much more enjoyable knowing the company has your back when you want quality products at a good price. I couldn’t be happier!
