Fantastic customer service, knowledge, and quality of knives. I went to get an old knife sharpened and purchase a new one. The sales assistant was very friendly and clearly an absolute expert. We worked within my budget and he gave me lots of information (communicated very clearly) so that I could make the right choice for me. The knife I got sharpened arrived quickly, the blade was polished and it was razor sharp. Can't recommend enough.
tl;dr: Great value knives that cut beautifully. Delivery was very fast and the product quality is impressive for the price. The website itself has a few technical issues but overall the experience was very positive and I would recommend them.I recently ordered the 3 piece Isshin Miyabi knife set and overall I had a very good experience.Delivery was extremely quick, arriving the next day via DPD. Everything was very well packaged and the knives themselves were beautifully presented when opened, which immediately gave a good impression.For the price, the knives seem excellent. They are well constructed, feel nicely balanced and cut beautifully straight out of the box. Early impressions are that they are very good value for money. They also came with detailed care instructions, which is always appreciated with Japanese style knives as proper maintenance makes a big difference to longevity.The website itself is also quite impressive in terms of product range. There is a very wide variety of knives, accessories and other kitchen tools available, which makes it easy to browse different options (if a little overwhelming)The only downside was that the website itself seems to have a few technical issues. When trying to access my order history the site crashed a couple of times (500 errors so that's a them problem not a me problem), and I came across a few dead links while browsing. Nothing that stopped me completing the purchase, but it does make the experience feel a little rough around the edges.Overall though, the product quality, presentation and very fast delivery made this a great experience. If the knives hold up well over time then they represent excellent value, and I would happily order from them again.
