Another instalment on the continuing sage with Edisons/Baumr Ag. HOW MANY MORE REASONS DO YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT THIS BUSINESS DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU - THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. I have been offered a refund of the purchase price only for the faulty mower (according to the representative - not a normal practice for them), but there has been no consideration for the ~$700 freight cost, replacement parts I needed to purchase to keep the machine operational, the cost of employing a contractor due to the machine not working with no-one to repair it, and no parts available. The refund was on a conditional basis that I remove the "unfavorable reviews" I have previously given. Trust Pilot states that all reviews are "honest", unpaid, or not coerced into being removed/modified. I now find out that I have been "Temporarily Blocked" on Trust Pilot since my refusal of the unacceptable offer of a refund of the purchase price, but I still need to pack and ship the machine for them. I'm now left out of pocket $000's of dollars, and they want me to spend more time and money to get a refund? I had approached them with a cost-effective solution of sending some small parts, and I would relinquish any further warranty as a compromise, but they have refused. Since refusing my offer, they again stated that this was their final offer.

The shopping experience was quick and easy and worked efficiently. However, Startrack let you down badly, they missed the same day delivery that I paid for, Thursday. I did not receive the parcel until the following Tuesday. I contacted star track 5 times and could not get a satisfactory answer, in fact Star Track could not advise where the parcel was and could not contact the driver to determine this. The parcel was returned to the wharehouse and I was advised that they were unable to access the site, which was untrue.
However, I would point out that on contact with Edisons they were on to the case.

Disappointing experience; suggest exploring other options for similar purchases

I had a disappointing experience and suggest exploring other options for purchases like mine. My item malfunctioned after just a few uses, was repaired by the support team, and then failed again. While customer service was relatively prompt with repairs (which should not have been necessary), they did not adequately adhere to consumer law regarding major failures and initially provided only a replacement or store credit instead of the refund I requested and deserve.
