Excellent range of genuine Japanese Kitchen Ware, (Not Chinese fakes). Finding a set of Kitchen knives was easy and I purchased a pair of knives made from 69 layers of steel. The knives arrived within the week and I tested them on various vegetables and meats and they cut perfectly on everything. The range of knives provide a product for all purses.

Good advice

Sales people are on hand but not pushy. I did some browsing and then wanted to ask questions about a product. Hiroshi at the Greek Street branch helped me and took time to give me lots of advice and I left very happy and confident with my purchase.

Fantastic, knowledgeable and helpful service from Jay at the Wimbledon branch. He couldn't do enough for us. We bought a beautiful knife for our son as an 18th birthday present which included engraving. If you want a chef's knife, this is the place to go!

Slow service. Knife Ok. Offered a 15% refund.

They do not keep their promises about delivery times They say it'll take 1-5 days to deliver, plus 1-2 more for Scotland or Northern Ireland. Since I'm in NI, it should be 1-7 days. It took 12 days, from the 12th to the 24th. Almost twice the time advertised.I wrote to them several times asking about tracking info, given that proof of age is required for delivery. They ignored my requests completely. No communication until the item was on its way.If you are in a hurry, look somewhere else.The knife itself is fine, although it doesn't cut that well, it will not cut tomatoes without squishing them. But, of course, this is Suncraft fault, not Jap. Knives Co.*** UpdateThe Jap. Knife Co. call me on the phone today (a Sunday not less) and apologized about the delay and lack of response, and offered me a 15% refund on my order. Very nice of them. I gave them an extra star.
