This was suddenly on autoship. When I called to cancel they said they would put in the request. I immediately get a call back a few minutes later saying they can’t cancel because they already shipped. When you look at the tracking, you can see that UPS never received the package and the label had just been created only after I made the call to cancel. They know they have a policy they won’t allow for a return on vaccines. So they will never allow you to cancel a vaccine order when they can just go ahead and ship after you call to cancel and that way they force the sale with no recourse given. Very shady business practices. I’m going to post this for all the websites that will alert you to scammers and fraudsters.
I have ordered from Jeffers several times with no problem other than horrendously slow shipping. I notice their website currently mentions shipping delays due to storms across the country. Funny, UPS, FedEx and USPS have not mentioned any delays in their operations due to "storms".
Jeffers has been my go-to for over 20 years and I never imagined I would leave this review but, sadly, they are not the outfit they once were. The appeal of dealing with a small business is feeling seen/heard/valued as a customer, but as a company grows that is often lost and that has become the case with Jeffers. I paid extra to have my most recent order expedited and after a week with no updates on their website and no emails or any other communication, today, the day it was expected to arrive, I called to check on it only to be told that they "were under a shipping delay" last week. This term was (I suspect intentionally) misleading as it suggested something out of their control, such as a problem at UPS, but after more questions than should have been necessary, the woman on the phone admitted, in an apathetic monotone, that it was their warehouse that was behind and that not only would my order not arrive today but they couldn't guarantee it would even ship today. Or tomorrow. Or this week. When I asked why that was not disclosed either at the time the order was placed, or at any point in the week since, and more importantly why they accepted payment for an expedited order knowing full well they were not only unable to expedite it but that it would, in fact, take longer than usual, she offered no explanation, just a flat "we apologize for the inconvenience." Nor did she offer to overnight the order, or even refund the $4.99 fee I ALREADY paid for it to be expedited. To be clear, mistakes happen, delays happen, we are all human. It's how a mistake is handled that makes all the difference. When a problem is met with evasive (and some downright deceptive) answers, deflection, apathy and unwillingness to offer even a token gesture to make it right (or at least less bad), then it's an integrity problem. And that's a dealbreaker.
Jeffers is the absolute worst company to buy from. As a company theyvhave no moral integrity. I bought my first shipment of vaccines in May of 2024. I se it up on an auto ship. They customer service department set it up because buying vaccines I wanted to make sure it was set up correctly. When the vaccines arrived they were hot and the second set was also. There advise was to get an ice pack and send them back. They did refund me my money. I gave them a second chance big mistake as they delivered my November shipment fine however, my January shipment never shipped on the 9th I contacted them and they said it shipped on the 6th and would be to me by the 18th. I paid for 2 day shipping. I contacted them and told them this was unacceptable as the vaccines would be bad when they arrived. They told me they would refund me but I needed to send the vaccines back. When the vaccines arrived I rejected the package and not only do I not have the bad vaccines they never refunded me. This company is absolutely shady and deceitful.
Ordered from this company for years Used to be stand up, company... Started an auto ship for vaccinations after first shipment they decided to switch to Super slow shipping and instead of soft insulated ice chest bag I paid for Sent thin Styrofoam. Vaccines were boiling hot when received of course, non usable. They refused to make it correct in any way, all for issues that were on their end..
I ordered two fluvac 6 vaccinations and two horse dewormers. It took forever to arrive, and when it did the tip (needle and top plastic portion of the syringe) was broken. This made the product unusable. I contacted Jeffers. They claimed they were very sorry and would have a replacement on the way. Weeks later I spoke with them again. Again they claimed they were very sorry for the broken item and confusion and said a replacement was on its way.I was recently contacted again, and interrogated about the item, and told they would need to call me to “clear this up”. I responded below:I don’t know what’s so hard about this. But your constant reluctance to replace a defective order speaks volumes about your customer service. Do not send anything. Though I have been ordering from Jeffers for years, this will be my last order. I do not know what a phone call would achieve. I ordered a product, you shipped it, it arrived broken and unusable. I contacted “customer service” twice. Was told both times that it was being shipped.
They send me someone else's order, expect me to send it back to them and then process my order 10 days late only via ground. Their shipping practices the past 2 years suck. I do not recommend ordering from this company unless you want to wait an enormous amount of time for receipt of product and/or get someone else's order. Also, their customer service rep Shania talks over the top of you and then hangs up on you when you try to finish what you are saying. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor after Shania states the call was disconnected (ha,ha). I got Lewanda who accused me of using profanity, yet she refused to answer my question (3X asked) when I asked what I said that was profanity. Lewanda also told me they would not ship my order until they received the one sent in error, holding my order hostage for their mistake. They are incompetent.
I ordered $155 worth of flea collars on April 18th. I received a $14 package of bird food instead. I have called three different times and was assured I would receive a return label and a refund. Today is June 11th. This is absolutely ridiculous. I will never purchase anything from them again.
