Frustrating experience with exchange policy

I purchased an elliptical from a local store and was assured I could exchange it within a month. However, when I returned for the exchange, the staff misled me for months. Despite multiple visits and calls, I was repeatedly told to be patient, and now nearly a year later, they still refuse to fulfill their promise. They are friendly when selling, but their follow-through on commitments is severely lacking.

Disappointing experience with an elliptical purchase

Purchased an elliptical from a local store. After being promised that I could exchange for a different size within a month, I returned to do so. However, the staff misled me for months. Despite multiple visits and calls, I was repeatedly assured that they would resolve the issue soon. Eventually, one employee stated that even though it was past the month, he would ensure it was addressed. Now, nearly a year later, they still refuse to replace it. They are friendly when selling, but their follow-through on commitments is severely lacking.

Disappointing treadmill quality and service

Purchased a treadmill from a local seller. After some use, I noticed white flakes and inquired with the staff, who dismissed my concerns as minor. After a year, the belt began vibrating. I maintained the machine as instructed. When I called for service, I was informed that not only was the belt damaged, but the entire platform needed replacement, costing me $200 just for the diagnosis. Now, they quoted $480 for parts and additional labor costs. My previous, less expensive treadmill lasted longer with fewer issues.

Frustrating customer service experience

Purchased an elliptical for a premium price. From the start, it had a recurring issue. A technician visited several times during the warranty, but the problem was never resolved. Recently, the same issue appeared again, and I was informed that I would need to pay for repairs as it is now out of warranty, despite having reported it multiple times previously. Management was unhelpful. Very disappointed with the after-sales support for such an expensive product. I have escalated the issue to the relevant consumer affairs department and reached out to media for investigation.

Very let down by service and communication

I was very let down by the service and communication. I scheduled a technician for two broken ellipticals at my gym and paid for the assessment, expecting follow-up details. Now, months later, I still have no updates, parts list, or repair quotes. I have had to chase the company for information repeatedly, showing a lack of internal tracking. As a result, both machines remain out of order, and this service level is unacceptable for a commercial business. I hope to raise awareness among other gym owners.

Feeling scammed after purchase

I feel scammed! I spent over $500 on dumbbells with a base and was offered a much lower refund amount. I regret not keeping them. It seems like a strategy to get more money from customers. I'm extremely frustrated!

Unacceptable response to safety recall

I own a set of adjustable dumbbells that were recalled due to safety concerns. Despite their current selling price, the company is only offering a small credit for replacement. This is unacceptable, especially given the nature of the recall. I have attempted to contact upper management with no response. Numerous complaints online highlight this practice. I will not purchase from this company again.

Refund issues and poor customer service

I am having difficulty getting a refund because I was charged twice for a treadmill. They claimed to refund me but did not. After multiple attempts to resolve this, I was threatened with warranty revocation for asking for my money back. The lack of support has been frustrating, and I will not shop with this company again.
