We believe the service was directly accountable for the breakdown of our membership system. After months of persistent requests for assistance to correctly set up our account, the problems remained unresolved, leading us to close our business. Even more than two years after we ceased operations, canceled the service, and no longer had an active account, the company started charging our card again without any authorization. No email receipts or notifications were provided, so the charges went unnoticed. When we reached out to the company for a resolution, they declined to rectify the situation. Consequently, we have been compelled to pursue formal action. Exercise caution. This service does not seem to operate with integrity.
in today's age of AI, it really is such a delight to receive prompt & accurate help from a person. their responses are quick, their help is direct and the energy is incredible. i'm so glad to have found join it–i'm definitely here for the long run!
We chose Join It mostly for the simplicity, because we have basic membership portal needs, even though we have a large membership base of ~1000. But after signing up, we realized (too late) that a very core membership reporting statistic is not available. Our memberships are "household" memberships (Join It calls these "group" memberships), and they have no way to display the current number of active group memberships. They only display "total members", which includes other household members. We need that statistic also, but the most important to us is the active group membership count, which is the only way we can view a snapshot of total "active" memberships, which are the paid memberships. Join It offers to provide this, if requested in a chat/email support request, so it's obviously available. The Join It support team is helpful and responsive, but chat and email based. Most of the time, my support requests have been answered within a few hours. Like any team-fueled support solution, expect the level of support quality to vary, based on the individual who answers your request. But overall, I've been satisfied. We send out a couple of emails to our members each month, and while the Join It editor for this is sufficient and the sent emails look fine, the only way I've found to select any font type other than their default "Times New Roman", is to do so in Google Docs (or something similar) then copy/paste the email into the Join It editor. Once the text is in the editor, it retains the font style, which makes me think there's a way to initially choose , but I haven't found it yet. Any Sans Serif font type would be fine, but for the past couple of decades, Serif font types are the least desired by readers of anything digital. In books, a Serif font is still used.Overall, we are very satisfied with choosing Join It, except for not being able to view the one member statistic (active group memberships), which is the most important to us. I'm hopeful that during our first six months they'll realize the value of adding this. Changing membership portal solutions is a painful thing to do, and I sincerely hope we never have to do this again.
