Good service from Archie, Charlie and the team at Rooksley branch in MK. Had an issue with eTyres, but once my tyres were eventually supplied to Rooksley, the fitting was prompt and professional.
I visited a local branch to inquire about four tyres I saw on their website. The main staff member was helpful and informed me that they couldn't provide online prices in-store. I decided to order online and return to the shop. During the balancing process, one of my wheels wobbled, but they adjusted it and balanced it correctly. I had been experiencing vibrations over 60mph, which I initially thought was a mechanical issue, but it turned out to be a tyre balance problem. The last balance was done elsewhere, and apparently it wasn't done well. However, this team resolved that issue effectively and deserved high praise for the tyre replacement and online pricing. On the downside, I scheduled a wheel alignment for a week later. They aligned the wheels, but after a few weeks, I noticed they were misaligned again. I took my car to another service, and they pointed out that the locking nuts hadn't been secured, which caused the misalignment. Additionally, the shop lacks a car lift and uses jacks, making it difficult for the mechanic to secure the locking nuts properly. This limitation likely contributed to the wheels going out of alignment again soon after. In summary, they are a solid choice for tyre purchases but may not be the best option for wheel alignment.
I needed a tyre fitting on short notice, and the team was fantastic in handling it. I also sought tailored tyre advice for my vehicle, and they provided excellent support. The staff were friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. Very pleased.
Either they have the fastest mechanics, or they failed to perform the necessary tasks. In just 30 minutes, they supposedly completed several checks and replacements on my car, which raises concerns. Given my previous experience where they replaced a single tyre in 20 minutes, I doubt the thoroughness of their service.
I feel fortunate to have avoided issues with this service. This review pertains solely to their online operations, not the physical location. They claim to match better deals found online and offer a discount, but this seems to be misleading. After finding a better price elsewhere, I contacted them, but their response was disappointing. I was passed around various representatives without receiving satisfactory assistance. Ultimately, I found another provider who handled my request efficiently and with appreciation for my business.
