Grateful for weekend tyre replacement

Initially, I was thankful for getting two new tyres replaced on a rainy Sunday. I was given a lift back and forth while the work was completed. They suggested tracking adjustments, which I agreed to, and mentioned a lambda sensor issue I didn’t know about. I accepted the repair, though the diagnosis was pricey. I was surprised by the rapid repair without needing new parts. Unfortunately, while driving north, my car started pulling to the right, and the Pilot Assist struggled. After checking tyre pressures, I found a major difference: 40 psi on one side, 28 psi on the other! After adjusting, the car ran normally. After spending almost £600, I expected at least a basic check of the tyre pressures. I feel fortunate that the motorway was dry during my trip today! Disappointing overall.

Incredibly friendly and prompt service...

I've been bringing my vehicle to the service center for six years, but today was a delightful surprise. They are professional, highly efficient, and no task is too small. I stopped by on a whim to see if they could fix a screw in my tire. The staff member was extremely accommodating, and the repair was completed in just 35 minutes. Concerns about honesty at the garage

I took my vehicle to the garage for an MOT. Shortly after, I received a call claiming my brake discs needed replacement to pass the MOT. However, only four months prior, I had new front brake pads installed at an official dealership, and my service report confirmed the braking system was in excellent condition with no advisories. I declined their suggestion and later had my MOT completed elsewhere, where my car passed without any brake-related issues. This clearly indicates that the garage may have provided misleading information to charge for unnecessary repairs. Additionally, I noticed a smoke smell in my car after collecting it, indicating someone had smoked inside. I am considering reporting this to the appropriate agency due to the concerning practices I've observed. Customers should be cautious when dealing with this garage based on my experience.

Repair suggestion seemed unnecessary for MOT

I've utilized the service a few times, including for servicing. However, this time I was informed that I needed to replace both front brake pads for £375. When I inquired if it was necessary for the MOT, they said it was just a recommendation. It feels like they encourage more repairs rather than focusing solely on the MOT. Some suggested repairs may not be essential.
