I recently ordered from KFC and my overall experience was okay — not great, but not terrible either. The food quality was decent and tasted fresh, especially the chicken which was crispy and flavorful as expected. However, the waiting time was a bit longer than I anticipated, and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed during peak hours.
The restaurant environment was clean, but the service could definitely be more organized. I feel like they need to improve consistency because sometimes the experience is really good, and sometimes it’s just average.
Overall, it’s still a good option if you’re craving fried chicken, but there’s room for improvement in service and speed.
On two occasions this past year, I've received a 6-piece takeout meal instead of the 10-piece meal I paid for, only realizing it once I got home. It's the same location, and after the first incident, I confirmed with the cashier that there were indeed 10 pieces, but I was still shorted. This is extremely frustrating and highlights poor customer service.
I have no issues with the employees at the company, but the idea of serving fillet chicken for a burger instead of proper boneless chicken is unacceptable. The fillet lacks flavor and doesn't even resemble the taste of what I expect. If I wanted just a chicken meal, I could have ordered from any other takeaway. I genuinely feel the company is not respecting its customers. Quite disappointing.
I had a terrible experience with my order placed through a delivery service. I ordered four chicken fillets, two portions of chips, a Pepsi Max, and a white chocolate cookie. Instead, I received three cold fillets, no chips, and a Tango Orange, with the cookie being half-eaten. After trying to call about twenty-nine times, I finally reached the manager, who blamed the delivery service, despite the fact that they don't prepare the orders. He then hung up on me when I pointed that out. Completely unacceptable.
Once again, giving the company a chance, we decided to order a 14-piece bucket along with 4 extra pieces. Unfortunately, it led to total disgust and disappointment. The fries were cold, bland, and only half-filled, while the assortment of chicken included 11 drumsticks, 3 wings, and 4 breasts. Well done, you’ve managed to disappoint us again.
The representative at the service location was outstanding and went the extra mile to ensure our son's birthday was truly memorable. I was the only one dining, with another person arriving later. I noticed no cars passing through the drive-thru. The cost for 4 small pieces of chicken, some reheated fries, a small drink, and a dip was £8.99. No coffee options available. This was at a retail park. If you walk a bit further, a nearby fast-food place was busy. Although the chicken was nice, I left still feeling hungry. I’m glad I went alone rather than with family. I won’t be coming back.
