Kuru feels like a scam…

Late to this about Kuru, but wish I had known earlier before buying the Roam leather sneakers. As others have noted, Kuru feels like a SCAM ! Despite the glowing reviews, it’s the multiple 1 star reviews that show a telling trend (a) Orders do not arrive for these pricey footwear, (b) customer service is unhelpful or almost non-existent or (c) the fit and quality of Kuru shoes is dreadful and they fall apart within months My order (shipped to Asia ) from last month never arrived….and customer service only replied twice over a month of correspondence, claiming that it was lost in transit and offering a replacement or refund. It‘s been weeks of slow responses and last I heard was 2 weeks ago and ghosted ever since. As other reviewers have pointed out, this store seems to have quite a few unethical or shady business practices..Kuru = Ripoff artists -BUYER BEWARE Trying again today with an email for a refund and let’s see if that actually does happen…Update: I actually finally got a reply that a refund will be made - still let’s see if this actually goes through Update 17 Oct 2025 - Received the refund and noted Kuru’s reply, but I still stand by my review from my first (and last) exhausting experience with this store…

KURU FOOTWEAR IS GREAT

I have been a customer of Kuru Footwear this year and have purchased four different styles of shoes. They have been exactly as described, and of good quality. Their customer service is been great, even when I returned two pairs that didn't work for me; the return process was very easy without any problems. I have a number of foot problems, and the problems cease to exist while I am wearing any of my four pairs of of Kuru shoes. In my opinion, Kuru Footwear is a very reputable company, with very good products, and excellent customer service, I have no connection with Kuru, nor have I been given any incentive for this review---I am just one of their satisfied customers (and my cats like my laced shoes so they can untie the laces and play with them)

I'm an executive chef, and while what they promised wasn't true, the worst part was that after only 5 days of use, the sole started coming off, and when I tried to return them, they only gave me back part of my money.It's not a good or safe place to shop, and the quality is very poor.

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. I bought a pair of Atom Fusion shoes in January 2025 and wore them to work at a medical clinic. After 5 months of wearing them the area where your heel slides into the shoe had worn out and foam was coming out of the area. Last weekend the metal support in the heel area broke or has bended and I cannot wear the shoe because it is painful. I spent $145 on these shoes and they last 5 months. I am not ok with this. They offered me a $25 credit to spend on another pair of shoes. I am not spending another $145 on shoes that last 5 months.

Disappointing all around!

Disappointing! Bad materials. These took a week to arrive, slides looked like they had already been “tried on”. I worked in the outdoor industry for 15 years fitting hiking shoes and boots. These shoes are poorly made, especially the inner fabrics and lining. Nothing more than a good orthotic or what a good orthotic would do. Then you have to get over that they are taking out $20 for return shipping. As the consumer let’s not forget that the only way to see if these are “right for you” is to order them. Disappointed AND out twenty bucks for giving their shoes a try. Overall the price of the shoe and the quality of the shoe do not match. Go get a great orthotic like superfeet and save your time and money!

The last agent I talked to was a female…

The last agent I talked to was a female and she was wonderful. The one I talked to you before her she was wonderful as well. The first person I talk to you sound like a stoner kid. He was just not with it at all, didn’t know anything about the product didn’t seem to care about the customer. I think you should reward the people who do well and earned five stars. And the other people give them something to aspire to. That’s how you keep a company on top!

I've been searching many web sites…

I've been searching many web sites looking to some foot wear that will help me with the pain in my feet. I have been looking at your site and I have to admit I'm a bit overwhelmed by all of the information that is not only on your site but others as well. I did seek professional help from a podiatrist but with no success so I'm out on my own in the hopes I will find foot wear to help me.
