Anthony from Last Check inspected a 2017 Volvo FH truck for us in Sydney which was a life saver and we could dodge a bullet with his expert advice. The truck was in a big collision from left side which Anthony found out on the spot and also had a rolled back odometer. The seller advertised it as zero accident and with only 197k odometer but Anthony found out that the ECU was actually rolled back and the real mileage was 532542k, almost three times more. He also told us that the truck was hit from left side and was repainted which the owner denied but when I showed him the ppsr vehicle history check with written off title which was also provided by last check he had nothing to say but he did not know....Such a brilliant pre purchase truck inspection, i would have been ripped off if they did not help. I will not buy any used truck without getting last check specially Anthony to verify it. Last Check perform a pre-purchase vehicle inspection on my vehicle at the request of the person to whom I sold the vehicle.Traditionally, I have very little interest or commitment in providing any review on a service I neither requested nor paid for; however, I am a firm believer in recognising excellence service.I also learnt something today that I thought is valuable to all second-hand vehicle buyers.I received a call from Andrew (Last Check Inspector) yesterday to arrange an appointment to inspect my vehicle today.He was friendly, courteous, and very accommodating of my time.Once he arrived, I found him to be extremely knowledgeable about my vehicle and aware of all known potential issues to review. That said, he spent over an hour performing a comprehensive assessment of everything.If I ever purchase a second-hand vehicle, I will engage the services of a Pre-Purchase Vehicle Inspector, and I would highly recommend Andrew from Last Check.
Probably the best car inspection company in the world. Lovely people with the best attitude. I have used them for myself and my family in the past, all of their inspectors we have met have been a pleasure to have onboard. They don’t scare you of silly things, they tell you what you have to do and how much the repair costs. Using ordinary language instead of a lost of technical nonsense that you won’t understand, they basically tell you whether you should buy the car or skip it. Keep up the nice work last check, you are doing great.
Lastcheck were fantastic to deal with. Prompt service and very efficient. They were polite and courteous to the person I was buying the car from and as I was interstate they sent me over 200 photos of the car so I was confident in their report. Well worth the money and would not buy a car without them looking it over first.
the best package before buying any used vehicle. their reporting process is also very awesome, they call you first and you can ask what ever question from the mechanic. the phone call is enough to make a decision but they still send you a written report and a big folder of pictures, i had precisely 284 pictures which make a difference especially if you are stuck in quarantine
I booked an inspection with last check in July 2020 for an inspection which didn’t happen since the seller sold the car on the inspection day.I called last check and informed them, with no hesitation the lady offered me a full refund but I asked them to put it on hold until I nominate another car.The car I was looking was a classic and not that common, I eventually found another classic mustang and I asked them to do the inspection on this one for me.Tayla was super amazing, he prioritised my inspection since I was an old client and Matthew did the inspection for me on the same day.The entire service was very impressive, customer service and trust was number one and the inspection was so thorough. I had a list of around 25 faults which I didn’t even noticed when I saw the car initially.Definitely recommend this business to all Australians, you will be impressedI wish all businesses were as efficient and genuine, the world would have been a better place to live in
