Totally unreliable

Totally unreliable. Never know if my master password will work. This used to be a good app but it has fallen to pieces. Only positive thing is my phone version is usually acccessible if I am stuck.

Unacceptable Service Interruption Despite Confirmation of Auto-Renewal

The service caused an unexpected shutdown despite confirming that our account would auto-renew—this is unacceptable for a security product. We were clearly informed in writing by our assigned representative that our account was set to auto-renew on January 22, 2026. We did not cancel or opt out, nor did we give any written or verbal notice of termination. We did engage in routine discussions about renewal, asked about pricing, and mentioned we were exploring alternatives—this is standard vendor due diligence, not a cancellation. However, the morning after the auto-renew date, all premium features were disabled across our organization without any warning, leading to immediate security and operational risks. Only after the disruption did we discover that “auto-renew” seemingly does not mean auto-renew unless a separate agreement is signed—a critical condition that was never clearly communicated and contradicts their own written statements. For a company that prides itself on trust and security, this behavior is extremely troubling. Cutting off access to a password manager without clear confirmation of non-renewal or a grace period is irresponsible. This experience highlights ongoing concerns many organizations have raised about the service: inadequate communication, aggressive renewal practices, and a lack of operational maturity for a critical security service. We are currently exploring alternatives and strongly advise other businesses to do the same.

Lastpass Renewal Manager Luz

LastPass caused an unannounced service shutdown despite confirming auto-renew — unacceptable for a security productWe were explicitly told in writing by our assigned LastPass Renewal Manager that our account was scheduled to auto-renew on January 22, 2026. We did not cancel. We did not opt out. We did not provide any written or verbal notice of termination. We did engage in standard renewal discussions, asked pricing questions, and stated we were reviewing alternatives — which is normal vendor due diligence, not a cancellation.Despite this, on the morning after the stated auto-renew date, LastPass disabled all premium features across our organization without warning, disrupting employee access and creating an immediate security and operational risk.Only after the outage did we learn that “auto-renew” apparently does not mean auto-renew unless a separate quote is signed — a material condition that was never clearly disclosed and directly contradicts their own written communication. For a company that markets itself on trust and security, this behavior is deeply concerning. Cutting off access to a password manager without explicit non-renewal confirmation or a grace period is reckless. This experience reinforces the ongoing issues many organizations have raised about LastPass: poor communication, aggressive renewal tactics, and a lack of operational maturity for a security-critical service. We are actively evaluating alternatives and would strongly caution other businesses to do the same.

Subscription was automatically renewed despite being cancelled

I cancelled my subscription through the app before it was automatically renewed, but the subscription was renewed anyway. LastPass Support claims that I had a different type of subscription, which could not be renewed through the app, which I was not aware of and which it did not say anywhere. The app also did not give any indication that the cancellation was not confirmed. Lastpass Support seems to be unwilling to accept that there is an error in their app. Also, the app's interface and how it interacts with other apps (e.g. autofilling passwords) is not great and sometimes even annoying.

Absolutely Horrible site for my Precious Passwords, False Ads for “free” Site, No Support Access

I have had a free account for a few years. Tried to sign in 20 times today. They kept saying I mussielled my login. Then they sent me a recovery password 7 seven. Never arrived in main email or recovery email or junk folders. I tried to sign up for free new account which they advertise but the only option is a paid account with 30 days free. To access the support section you have to log in. DahhhhI called several of the phone numbers. One goes to a “free” offer for non related product. No phone support no option for online support. This does not give me confidence for support. Can I hi e this company a ZERO??? B

In general non functional

The Add-on does, in general, not work. Can't even open open the vault in an new tab, does not fill passwords and usernames around 50% of the times, tries to add the same login multiple times and the list goes on.In general a pretty horrible user experience.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not use this company. They charged me 84 usd without my consent. The free trial was a very tedious and difficult service to use as well. I will spread to everyone I know to not use this company. If they refund me my money, I will delete the review.

Not worth the hassle.

I first downloaded Lastpass about 3 years ago. It worked fine for about a year then the problems started. I would find myself logged out of all my websites. This glitch would happen every few weeks. Then I got a new computer about a year ago and LP has been garbage since. Logged out of websites multiple times a day. Favicons gone for no reason. Recently I have been finding myself logged out of LP and the only way to login was change my password. Today found myself logged out of LP again and it took multiple attempts to login by changing my password. Minutes after logging in I found myself logged out of all my websites. I got all my info off LP and deleted it for good.
