I was tried the worst my whole life this year so far I am suffering with my life and very dimayed for what you staff put me though this evening. I visited your shop this afternoon when I walked in the bakery lady was throwing all the goods into a bin I asked her what happens with all this she says it all gets thrown away I asked the lady if I could take some for my children she says yes of course she then took the things out of the being and put some things in a bag for me for my children she told me to let the til people know that she gave them to me and that there was being thrown away I carried on shopping I went to tils told the lady at the tills the lady says these I could keep she then turned around and said no you should pay for them you need to pay for them I told her the lady picked them out of the bin and gave them to me and said that I can have them for nothing she then says no repeatedly and called manager manager came also was telling me no you have to pay for them you are stealing I told them again the lady told me that that I could have them for no charge she literally pulled them out of the bin to give them to me she also told me that ever staff would be funny and that she would be there Sunday and I could come back Sunday to get more the two ladies the till Lady and the manager was very very disgusting to me they made me feel as low as I possibly could she started to grab my things the manager saying you are not leaving the store with them you must pay for them after me telling her they are from the being the lady give them to me from the bin and said I could have them she started to grab my goods that I paid for she grabbed my arm telling me I'm not leaving then she grabbed the basket off me said I couldn't take the basket to my car to help me put my goods in my car then I asked for help taking my things to the car she was refusing she was very very disturbing she done this in front of a hole shop full of people this is the worstest thing I've had to deal with in a long time I suffer with bad mental health I did explain that to her she didn't care they made me feel like an animal they made me feel disgusted in myself the way they treated me is horrifying

We decided as a family to switch from Aldi to Lidl after many years. Today I visited the Lidl store on Darlington Street, Wigan and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. We will never go there again.
After completing my shopping in that Lidl shop, I went to the checkout and was informed that the staffed checkout was available for cash payments only. As I was paying by card, I was directed to use the self-checkout instead. While I understand that stores encourage self-service, the self-checkout area was far too small to accommodate a full trolley of shopping.
There was not enough space on the scale to fit all my items, and I was advised by a member of staff that I would need to scan and pay for one bag at a time. This was highly impractical and inconvenient. As a result, I chose to leave my shopping and shop elsewhere.
The experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. I believe checkout policies and store layout should better accommodate customers doing a full weekly shop, regardless of payment method.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and constructively and that improvements will be made for future customers.

Stroppy staff

Avoid the Morecambe store like the plague. Attempted a shop in ths Morecambe store this morning which left an exremely bad taste in our mouths. Having finished our shop we proceeded to the self service checkout. Due to lack of signage we ended up on the wrong self service till, no-one advised us that we were on the wrong one. We then encountered problems trying to scan our shopping in. Each time the "Lady" member of staff came over to "help" put things right she kept tutting and mumbling under her breath. This happened several times until we;d finally had eneough and we approached her on the matter. She then claimed we were aukward customers. I then asked for a manager, who came over, and she proceed, so ed to shout at us in a very rude manner, I was not prepared to accept this, so we returned our shopping back int the trolley and left the store. Needless to say we will not be going back and will advise all our friends and any who will listen not to use this store.

Harrowing new year

Today, I offered somebody to go to the checkout beside me the and was shouted at by member of staff, I got upset, then said I didn't want to buy any now, so another member of staff banned me, I returned with apology but they banned me, I have had some good times there another time I looked at the too good to go and they shouted at me for that too, they said I was upsetting other customers but they didn't care they were upsetting me, this is on new years eve it was harrowing.
