Support is completely terrible. Both online chat and Telegram are useless - people there don't understand anything and can't help with basic issues.When you actually need help, you're on your own. Had to solve everything myself.With this kind of service, there's no desire to use their proxies. Very disappointing.
Unfriendly review of lightningproxies.netIn my opinion, anyone who intends to purchase from this service should reconsider.I spent about 2500 USD to test their proxy service. While the proxy quality might be comparable to some other providers like PY or Luna, the customer support was very disappointing.First experience:I ran ~500 threads and found the connection unstable.I contacted support to ask about the issue, but they responded that I was running 140K threads and “causing the server problem.”Later, I tried again on 10 machines with 300–500 threads each, and it worked fine. This shows the issue was not as they described.Second experience:I got proxies in the format ip:port and tried setting up a whitelist, but could not connect.Checking their API logs, it was clearly a backend error.Support only told me to “clear cache and try again.” I even opened a new Chrome session and retried, but it still failed.Then they asked me to delete all whitelists and try again, which still did not solve the issue.Overall, the support was not helpful, often blaming customers instead of solving problems. After I raised concerns, I even felt like they wanted to restrict or suspend my account.👉 With the amount I spent, I expected a more professional service. Personally, I cannot recommend this provider.Update: after all i have not received any apology. still just blaming the customer
Was using Residental proxies and spent 1630$ on this service. Can't say it's good, most of proxies is with bad score level, super slow. Bought 5gb of Mobile proxies, buy it doesn't works on my side, support says it work, maybe it is, but on my side, anti detect browser can't connect. So i bought mobile plan on the other service and it works perfect and came back to Lightning support and asked to cancel those mobile plan, which i didn't used and send those 5 gb to my residental plan.They said - no, and asked for teamviewer) lol.22$ that's the cost of they reputation.don't use this proxies, they are not good for those price, especially the speed of connection. There is much more faster and better support friendly services on the market!
Last month I was double charged for one of my plans which I only noticed today when I check my bank statements. I reached out to their support and was given a refund very quickly. However, the supporting agent was very condescending.First, they said I was double charged because of card declines. But there was no card declines at all from my bank. Instead of trying to fix the issue/bug, they said they can't assure this wouldn't happen again. Only when I pointed out they should do something about it that they said they'll look into it, which I doubt they'll. Their attitude is basically "sometimes it happens. Just deal with it"Second, there're no plan ID in their invoices. When I pointed it out, they said there's no need. I then asked "Don't you think it's needed here to know which plan was double charged last month?", to which they responded with "I think you are only upset now". So they're think I was being emotional and unreasonable to ask them to included the plan ID in their invoices.To be fair to them their proxy services are good but they should probably hire some more customer friendly supporting agents.Edit:If they read my review carefully, I'm leaving a "negative" review because of the poor customer service I received, not because of the proxy service. After consideration I've changed the review from 2 stars to 3 stars to be more fair.It's true that I was given a refund quickly, which I appreciated. But charging extra money without the customers' knowledge is a not a minor issue and they seem to not take it seriously. And I can tell from their replies that this is not a rare case. I was lucky enough to notice it, but who knows how many double charge have happened to other customers with them knowing?I'm giving feedback as a customer, not trying to attack them. People can judge by themselves with the facts I presented above.Edit 2:I'm changing it from 3 stars to 1 star. They've decided to refuse their service to me because I left a "negative" review. Their business manager, Hardin, said to me, I quote, "Your attitude is just wrong". What they're saying is basically I'm not allowed to leave a negative review regarding their customer services because they're always right. I'm not even mad. It's so amusing. It's unbelievable that this person is taking care of their customer service
