Review Time
I ordered one month subscription for lingo twice. Each time one of the sensor turned out to be finicky. On my last order the sensor stopped working in less than 24hrs and it said to contact customer service.
The customer service is even worst. I sent them an email and after 48 hrs got a response saying apologizes for delay hope and we have addressed your concern. Which didn't make sense since they didn't even read the concern. I don't think I will order anymore product from them and I hope this feedback helps other folks to stop ordering from Lingo.
Getting access to data is utterly painful. Export produces several hundred 5-minute raw readings. Lots to excel work to produce barely useful data. No graphs to export. Customer Support staff barely trained.
The first sensor worked well. No complaints. The second failed immediately. I ran through all the troubleshooting steps. The device failed to connect. The error screen read ‘Biosensor ended early. Whatever the reason we’ll help you replace it.’ That was a lie.
Customer service has not responded to my emails. The phone number plays an obnoxious message about trouble shooting sensors that don’t work. No one picks up. No option to leave a message.
I was very pleased with the first biosensor I purchased; it worked flawlessly. However, when I tried to replace it, I received an error stating 'biosensor incompatible.' Assuming it was a faulty unit, I tried another one I had, but faced the same issue. Ultimately, I wasted two biosensors in my attempts to get them to function, both showing 'biosensor incompatible.'
I was pleased with the initial biosensor I bought, as it worked flawlessly. However, when I attempted to replace it, I received an error: 'biosensor incompatible.' Thinking it was a defective unit, I tried another one I had purchased, but faced the same problem. I ended up wasting two biosensors trying to make them function, both indicating 'biosensor incompatible.'
I may have misunderstood, but the description didn't clarify that this device uses a needle, contrary to the claim of a 'seamless fitting process.' I'm not comfortable with needles, but I tried it and it bent as soon as it touched my skin. The company needs to update their website and sales information.
I'm 11 days into using it. There have been several connectivity issues, although it seems to sync from the 'cloud' eventually, raising doubts about the accuracy of the data. The variability in readings is low, making it visually unhelpful; values from 5 to 7 look similar. Nonetheless, it was useful in confirming that my HB A1c was higher than expected on a low-carb diet, despite low fasting insulin levels. It helped me understand my body's reactions to the food I consumed, including carbs.
The sensor's concept is promising, and the software has many features, but the CGM sensor is very inaccurate. I found significant discrepancies when comparing it to blood glucose readings from a finger prick meter, often by three to four points, rendering the results ineffective. Many friends who tried it agreed. It's a nice idea for active individuals, but it doesn't deliver. The software is excellent, but the sensor feels cheaply made; I discarded mine after a few days. While I understand it's not a medical device, it seems to promote more expensive and effective options.
