Nothing wrong with the driver – the issue is LITTA’s pricing and booking system.
I’ve had 4 collections in the last 30 days with no problems. This time, I booked 1 cubic yard plus a fridge/freezer and was charged extra for the freezer. After that, LITTA claimed the freezer also counted towards the 50kg limit, effectively double charging.
The booking system does not distinguish between domestic and commercial fridge/freezers, yet this was later used against me. This is misleading.
£186 to remove one freezer is completely unreasonable when councils charge around £23.
Poor transparency, unclear pricing, and responsibility pushed onto the customer. I will not use LITTA again.
