It’s hard to find a cake company that ship outside of London so Lola’s was a fantastic find. The birthday recipient loves red velvet and Lola’s hall had 2 versions on offer. I went wild with the version with chocolate ganache and it went down a treat with the birthday girl. Cake was packaged incredibly well, arrived looking as nice as it did when it was packed and Lola’s even include a return label to send packaging back which is ingenious!
I always choose Lola’s cupcakes for all my cakes celebrations. From start to finish it’s always made with perfection. Their cakes are delicious, soft and beautiful. Their customer service is great as well. They are always ready to help and support when making orders through the phone.
Completely loved the decor of the cake and the flavours of the jam and the strong vanilla taste. However I must say the icing was way too sweet so it made the cake have less of an effect especially when there’s already some sugar in the cake. Other than that it was delightful.
bought the gluten free banoffee cake for pickup from a locker. the process was super easy, just write in a 4 digit code and take cake out of locker, and a sturdy carrier bag was provided. the cake itself looked great, and everybody loved it. the banana and cream cheese kept the sponge nice and moist, and the cake was very flavourful. being accredited by coeliac uk is great as it gives peace of mind to enjoy a treat without worrying. will definitely be trying the other gluten free treats in the future!
