I buy most of our family birthday cakes from Lola's & have always been happy with them.I recently bought a gluten free & vegan chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday.I picked it up at The Glades in Bromley and brought home to consume later that day, unfortunately it had completely clasped in the evening. Instructions on the box says to eat at room temperature if eaten on the same day, when I complained to customer service, they said I should have followed instructions on the box. Complaint was not resolved.
I ordered the Chocolate Pistachio Kunafa cake for my husband’s Birthday to be delivered to a restaurant where we were having a meal with friends.Lola’s customer support was great helping me ensure the cake was delivered to the right place and confirming delivery arrangements.The cake itself was delicious and enjoyed by all!
100% pleased with the box of cupcakes I ordered to surprise a friend with on her birthday in place of a large birthday cake as there were only 6 of us. So easy to have one each and to not have to slice a cake in the restaurant and I put individual candles on. They looked beautiful. They were so light to eat too which was good after a meal. Would definitely recommend and purchase myself again for another occasion.
