Had a great experience with this clinic. Very efficient diagnosis and procedure on the same day. Dr Charakida had great manner and the surgery was exactly what I wanted. The outcome more than met my expectations. My only complaint in the process was the pricing. I wish it had been more transparent before I arrived. The procedure ended up costing about four times what I had expected from the initial phone call. I would have pushed more on my private insurance had I known this. Other than that it was great. For full disclosure it had been 4 days since I had it done so have not finished the full cycle yet.
I wanted a 4x5cm lipoma removed. I spoke to their agent beforehand and told him the size. He said it fell with the £295 category. When I showed a guy in pretreatment he quoted me £3,295. I told him what their agent said on the phone but he said my lipoma was huge! Funny that when I told my adult kids who have seen me largely without a top on in the summer for the last 10 years I've had it, they said they'd never noticed it before. Anyway I'm sure I'll receive a £245 consultation fee for my 2 minutes in the room. Not sure I can claim train fare and 3 hours lost time from them. AVOID!
