I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I waited nearly a month for my order, and after requesting a refund, I have now been waiting almost another month without receiving my money. Despite being told that the refund would be processed shortly, no funds have been credited to my account.
The lack of communication and excessive delay are unacceptable. I expect businesses to take responsibility and handle refunds promptly. Unfortunately, this has not been the case here.

We are extremely disappointed with our recent order (Order #64764).The lamb brains were poorly packaged in foam trays wrapped in foil instead of proper plastic containers, which caused them to arrive squashed and completely unusable.On top of that, the bones were delivered as two large, uncut pieces. They should have been cut in half, as it is not reasonable to expect customers to cut through thick bones at home. This made them impossible to use.The overall quality, packaging, and preparation were unacceptable. This was our first time ordering from this company, and unfortunately, it will also be our last.We would not recommend buying from them.
Do Not Order you have been warned this is a complete scam ! He will take your money then not deliver promise refunds which are never paid had to get charge back from bank. I will be reporting to trading standards too this guy should not be permitted to run a scam business.
I'm bitterly disappointed with this company. They emailed me at 1120 pm the night before delivery was due to tell me they could not deliver my order of a party size cheesecake for my husband's surprise birthday dinner. What am I supposed to do now!!!!! I await their refund - I wonder how long that will take. Lesson learned - will never order from them again.
The day I chose for my order of fish came and went so I messaged customer services. No reply so I sent some-more emails, still no response. Then completely out of the blue the next day my order arrived well packed, still frozen and exactly what I ordered. After reading some of the comments left for this company I was astounded that it arrived at all so thank you London Grocery.
Placed order which was confirmed. Noticed the shipping costs seemed to be overly high. Chased after a few days, and seller said sorry, can't fulfil, expect a refund. Chased refund after 4 weeks. Seller promised refund in 5 days. When it didn't arrive, I raised a dispute/claim with PayPal which was settled immediately in my favour, so it seems this company is known to them, Avoid. (EDIT: Trustpilot have asked me to add further details to prove this review is genuine. There is nothing I can add to what I have written.)
I ordered beef organ meat and oysters. The products arrived two days late. The label on the meat had no use by date and there was also no label and no use by date on the oysters. The oysters were OPEN - meaning dead and needed to be discarded. The absence of food labelling with a use by date is in contravention of regulation 20 of the Food Labelling Regulations 1996

I was told the order had been shipped, yet the company could not provide any tracking details. Shortly afterwards, they admitted — blaming a “technical error” — that the order had not been shipped at all.Because I was away over Christmas and could not accept delivery, I requested a refund. I was told this would be processed within 3–5 working days.That was 18 days ago.I have since followed up multiple times and was again told that finance would process the refund in another 3–5 days. Nothing happened. Instead, I received repeated excuses about “bank processing times”, which simply do not hold up.The issue here is not the money — it is the pattern of misinformation, delays, and broken promises.I am equally disappointed in myself for not reading the reviews beforehand, because the feedback here and on Facebook is remarkably consistent: poor service, unreliable fulfilment, and refunds that do not materialise without persistent chasing.Based on my experience, this company is dishonest in its communication, unreliable in its operations, and cannot be trusted to resolve issues once they arise.My recommendation is simple: avoid, avoid, avoid.
