Review Time
we recently went longhorn, a group of 9 people, after a state cross country meet. we had to wait for a waiter to come and them clock in, so we were a little annoyed but soon found out that the waiter was worth the wait. our waiter was Richard, he was kind, funny and very patience with our little boys while they were ordering. one of the people in our groups has a sever dairy allergy so he ordered a plan steak, baked potato, and steamed broccoli. he tells Richard and he is nice about it and understands however the chef accidently puts butter on the broccoli which touched his other food so they have to redo it but they kept the steak but we soon realized this so we need a new steak too, Richard said okay. the guy who was working with the steaks even came out to our table and took ownership that he made a mistake and apologized! great costumer service!!!
I had dinner there on Monday and the food tasted great. But right after leaving my stomach started to hurt and it’s been a week now and I’m finally able to get more than 20 feet away from my bathroom. I think it was the mushrooms that came with my steak. Nevertheless, I’ve been very sick.
We went to dinner on a Thursday evening. Had to try the new place in Bakersfield, CA. I read reviews and they were not good. However we had a great experience. We were greeted immediately and taken to a table in the bar. Our server who was also the bartender was excellent. She made us drinks that were just right. We ordered the Longhorn Porterhouse which is a huge steak. It was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The bread that comes with the meal was good too. We all had steaks and potatoes and everything was delicious. We don’t have room for dessert. The manager stopped by our table to see how our meal went. He was friendly and truly interested to see if we had a good experience. We will definitely go again. My only negative is they do not have any happy hour specials because I’d like to take my staff there for drinks and apps
A friend and I visited Longhorn’s in Louisville, Ky on Hurstbourne Lane. We had the most pleasant and accommodating server you could ask for. Her name was Alexandria M(Allie). She went well above what was expected and met all our needs. She even noticed a birthday card on the table and asked whose birthday it was. At the end of the meal, without being asked by the person I was with, Allie brought me ice cream and whipped cream in a fancy dish with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate on the plate. She made, what started as a typical lunch date, into a special birthday surprise. Allie was very personable and was one of the best servers I have ever had. Longhorn’s is very fortunate to have such a valued employee that does the extra things to make customers have a pleasant experience. I hope that she sees this review to know how much she was appreciated!
Ordered ribs on 10/16 @ Longhorn Laburnum Ave Richmond VA and they were very dry. Returned them uneatened. I’m stilll waiting for my refund which manager D said was refunded back to my bank card. I’m no longer a customer of Longhorn. Called another manager today who said he’d refund my card. We’ll see. ☹️
Regarding the Lady Lake, FL location. First, they have terrible water there unless you buy bottled. Other surrounding restaurants have filters that make the water much better. Also, during our recent visit, they had no carbonated drinks. They said their C02 machine was broken. So I ordered iced tea, which was mixed with their crappy water. The food was good, so no complaint there. Their service is always mixed. You never know if you’re going to get a waitress who is attentive or one who comes when it’s convenient for her. We also feel that the management there is weak. We’ve had issues in the past with steak taking forever, coming out wrong, then taking forever to get redone and then nothing is done to compensate you. It’s not that we’re looking for that, but when you wait so long to get your steak done correctly that your husband is already finished eating his whole meal, it wouldn’t kill the management to at least give you a discount off that meal.
This is our fourth visit to LongHorn Steakhouse, Webster, Texas. When we want a good steak that is where we usually go. Always cooked according to our instructions and each of us have different preferences. Even the take out we did one time was very good and the service people made waiting enjoyable. Bringing us ice water while we waited. This last trip the server noticed I had a birthday present for one person in our party. At the end of the meal, she brought her a hot fudge ice cream dish at no charge. Nice surprise.
If I could rate it a ZERO I would!! The service at the Bartlett location was absolutely HORRIBLE! The manager - Pam, blamed me for the fact that I waited over an hour for my food and tried to manipulate my receipt to say that my order didn't go in until 5:30 and the receipt that she reprinted had that I was curbside. I showed my original receipt which clearly indicated that I was there from 5:02 and didn't receive my order until 6:07. I was told that construction on cabinets was happening in the kitchen and they only had one cook. The manager would not listen to me or the other consumer witnesses who informedher that I was the first one there and had been waiting although they received their orders prior to me. I supplied the guest relations with both receipts, a picture of the very overcooked asperagus and all, and didn't receive so much as an apology from the manager. I requested my money back and didn't receive that either! I am beyond disappointed in this restaurant location and will not go back to that location!!What ever happened to customer service???
Me and my BFF always go eat there after church people don’t listen young people how you going mess up a order I ordered mushroom appetizer and a spinach dip appetizer they gonna bring out spinach, dip, and shrimp appetizer. We let them know that we didn’t order the shrimp appetizer that we ordered the mushroom appetizer then I ordered the lemon garlic chicken. He ordered the filet mignon medium rare 9 inch. He brought them out of 6 inch after I paid my bill and looked at the ticket. I saw that he didn’t correct it at all he didn’t take off the shrimp and he didn’t correct the steak racist Karen came over to the table and made a great goal scene. I wasn’t going back-and-forth with her. That was too low for me to go. I gathered my stuff up. I told her right to her face to tell it to the corporate office, my friend tried to tap her to let her know that he ordered the mushrooms and not the shrimp she started making the scene talking about don’t touch me. Don’t touch me. I proceeded to get my vehicle to pull up to the door to help my friend get in the car because he had a walker. The restaurant was crowded and they can pull the tape back and look at her behavior. Well I don’t do is racist people but what I am is I member of the NAACP and she wasn’t worth it and she better hope I don’t put her on TikTok they need to really talk to their young people when they work on Sundays because they be crowded and people come because they like Longhorn people come because they like the food you just can’t serve people any thing you can’t put just any thing in the cook is gonna fix what you put in and they have ample enough time to get that receipt, right the receipt shouldn’t have been ready until after we was ready to pay but young people do what they wanna do. The steak was 30.99 for the 9 ounce that’s what he ordered nobody told him to put in a 6 ounce he just didn’t fix the ticket. I didn’t look at the ticket until after I paid for it after it was pending on my credit card. He talk about well. I’ll return it and swipe your card again. No, you won’t know you will not. If you gotta write the first time you wouldn’t be going through this so now I took his shit back that I gave you and I want my $13 back that I paid for some shrimp appetizer that we did not order nor did we eat and the young lady that took our order for our drinks She took our order for the appetizer she’s the one who got the appetizer around. He is the one that we told about the appetizer because he was gonna be our server if you cannot handle multiple tables, you ain’t got no business being a server, especially if you can’t put peoples food in right they don’t have to worry about me doing business with them anytime soon under any circumstances. The money wasn’t the issue. It was the principal because the girl made a mistake on the appetizer you gonna make me pay for it anyway you gonna charge me for it anyway no, you’re not get the receipt right yes, I took that tip back I drew a line through that tip and I wrote era Racist Karen. She talk about ma’am you can’t talk to me like that. That’s not how you talk to me first of all Lady. I’m not gonna talk to you at all. How about that and I got my stuff up and I gathered my stuff and I told her tell it to the corporate office Cause I don’t know who you think you talking to and I refuse to go back-and-forth with her
