Our team celebrated Christmas with a dinner on December 9th at this venue. The food was exceptional and bursting with flavor, with no complaints whatsoever. I had garlic prawns to start, followed by beef bourguignon and a yule log for dessert. Some colleagues selected the traditional meal, while others went for salmon or vegetarian wellington. The atmosphere was charming and everything was handled smoothly. Highly recommended!

We frequently stop here on our route from one town to another. The food is exceptional, far from standard pub fare. There’s a good selection of drinks, and the staff are wonderful. The numerous 5-star reviews are a testament to its quality. Highly recommended.
This is a fantastic pub with friendly staff and a superb beer selection. The new owners have made significant improvements, from the redesigned garden with stunning views to the beautiful new bar. The food quality is exceptional, though portions are not huge. A real delight.
There’s a large car park across from the pub. The menu offers a great variety of well-priced pub dishes. The food is tasty, and the portions are generous—especially the chips, which are outstanding. The drinks selection is well-stocked, and the pub is clean. The staff are friendly, kind, and polite. It’s a very dog-friendly place. We always make a point to visit when we're in the area.
Great village pub and overnight stay! I stayed overnight for a local event, and the Garden Room was cozy on a chilly night. They provided complimentary water, snacks, and thoughtful details like real coffee instead of instant. Plus, they even included a flashlight for our walk home! The breakfast was delicious, and accommodating gluten-free options was no issue. All the staff were friendly and genuinely eager to make our stay enjoyable—especially impressive since they had only taken over recently.
