I have had a very disappointing experience buying a BCD from LucasDiveSport. After ordering the ScubaPro Bella BCD in size medium it arrived from the Netherlands in good time. I expected to pay duty on it which was fine and I received an invoice from FedEx a week or so later.However, the BCD was too big so arranged to send it back to LucasDive for a refund. I paid to have it sent to me in the UK and paid to send it back. However, taxes\duties were due when it arrived back in the Netherlands.LucasDive refused to pay these so the courier would not deliver it. The BCD is now being returned to me and I have to pay additional shipping to receive it back.So now I'll have a useless BCD, for which I've paid for shipping 3 times and absolutel no help from LucasDive.If you're ordering from a country outside the EU, I'd think again about buying from LucasDive as I certainly won't be in future.I did communicate with LucasDive before returning the item and they said nothing about me having to pay the duties and they would refund me. So I was concerned about this paying duties twice and having no BCD which would have left me over £200 out of pocket.And according to my subsequent research on the matter of duties, it's the receiving party who should pay them and claim back if any duties are required.
Very nice products and great prices. Easy to purchase and with a working link to trace the shipment, which is often not the case with many providers nowadays. On top of that incredibly fast delivery, got my products 48 hours later. Would absolutely recommend Lucas Divestore as your choice when buying gear. Keep up the good work guys!
