I bought a pair of sunglasses and two pairs of reading glasses. The quality of the manufacture, material and style are excellent. I'm a retired product designer and very much appreciate good design and quality of product. Since my cataract operations I need reading glasses. If fact essential to me but up until now I found that off the shelf products and the cheaper frames crack and break after a very moderate time and use. I've only had the Luxreaders for about a week so cannot yet vouch for their longevity. However, as mentioned the feel and quality of these gives me confidence that they will last.

These businesses focus to a large extent on low prices, high margins and preferably a high frequency of repurchases when customers' vision has to be corrected. The result is bad and ugly reading glasses in poor quality. We want to change that!
