I regularly buy perfumes and I made multiple orders on Makeup.ie website. I haven't had any issues yet as everything was received as expected. Products arrive from Polish warehouse to Ireland within a week with tracking available for UPS delivery. I will be ordering from them in the future as well as I find the variety of products and prices very good! :-)
Items missing from package and ones that were delivered were damaged/defective.Refused to refund after informing the company, providing evidence etc.Will get my refund through paypal or credit card anyway but save yourself the trouble and order from a reputable company with less bad reviews! 😅Updated - I have provided all details, you must have defrauded a lot of customers to not know which this refers to! Well done, keep digging... 🙄🙂
Purchased several air fresheners from Makeup on two occasions (was given free samples too). The air fresheners are of good quality and smell amazing. Delivery was very quick each time and items are very well packaged. Will be ordering more in the future. Highly recommend.
I received a tracking notification from your delivery company that my parcel had been delivered. I was at home at the time and it had not been delivered. When I looked at the photo's uploaded by the courier company, the map location was clearly no where near my home and was in a different part of the county. The photo of the parcel showed it was badly damaged and the product had leaked everywhere - it looked like it had not been sufficiently protected in the first place. The parcel looked to have been photographed in a warehouse type facility and the map location confirmed this. I conclude it never left the courier's sorting office as it was damaged. Makeup.ie are refusing to refund me saying it'll take 30 days for the courier company to review the claim. They're also saying they can't fulfil the order now due to a technical difficulty. Very disappointed in the customer service - I the consumer am being made to pay for the mistakes of the company and their delivery courier. Not good enough in this day and age. I won't be buying from you again. I will exercise my consumer rights and report you to the consumer watchdog if I do not receive delivery of the items or a refund within 30 days of the purchase date.
I placed an order with Makeup.ie but never received my order. The parcel was to be delivered by DPD Poland but it was never received into DPD Ireland. I contacted Makeup Customer Service who said they would need to investigate & would issue refund when complete. Over two months later despite regular emails Makeup have still not completed their investigation, which has left me without order & still waiting on a refund. AVOID.
I was delighted with my shopping experience! It was really nice to receive the products undamaged and was especially nice to receive the free samples (not many companies do this). I will definitely shop again and recommend it to friends! Thank you!
