I purchased a lithium battery from Mart Explore and my credit card information was exposed through them. I called their phone number to cancel my order only to be instructed to leave a message. I don’t know if they are a legitimate business but I know your credit card is not safe. I also sent an email to cancel my order and as of yet no reply.
I am truly disappointed with my experience with this service, which appears to be a common issue. I ordered a whole-house water filtration system for a set price. Over a week later, I was informed that "due to billing issues," the order was canceled, and I needed to place a new order. When I did, the price had increased by $10. After looking into the service, I discovered that there have been reports from customers indicating that they frequently cancel orders and then restock at higher prices.
Initially, I was skeptical about this being a legitimate company since the espresso machine I ordered was $50 cheaper than even the largest retailer, with free shipping and an extra 5% off! Although they were out of stock for my first color choice, I received the next color within a week! They even followed up to confirm that I got my order. I'm genuinely impressed and surprised at how they can offer such discounts, and I will be checking their site before the larger retailer from now on.
The staff can be quite judgmental; they could improve by not making assumptions about people, especially when someone isn't stealing. I had money and paid for everything. They didn't need to follow me around while I was shopping, which made me very uncomfortable.
