Order Delays and Lack of Communication

I purchased a vinyl in August and have received no updates. The website claimed it would be 'In stock within 14 days.' Now, five months later in 2026, I've had no contact or responses to my emails. I attempted to 'cancel' the order using a button that only sent an email, which went unanswered. This feels like a scam. It's strange that there is no straightforward way to cancel an order. The site definitely needs improvement.

Consistently poor experience with unshipped orders

I have repeatedly placed orders that never arrived. I am still waiting for two albums from over a year ago. They have not responded to my refund request, which I have submitted three times. I recommend purchasing from a different seller.

Selling unavailable vinyl with no customer support

They are selling vinyl records that are either out of stock or out of print. There are no customer service details available on their website. I've read on forums that they frequently scam customers in this manner and refuse to issue refunds. If you ever decide to buy from them (which I advise against), make sure to use a credit card so you can report it to the company and retrieve your money. Deceivers and fraudsters. I'm shocked this site is still operational. If I could give zero stars, I definitely would.

Extremely Frustrated with My Order

I am extremely frustrated. I ordered a shirt for my husband last week on 12/17, hoping it would arrive in time for Christmas. When I tried to check the order status via email, the link led me to a 421 error page. I can't reach anyone; there’s no contact number, and none of the website links are functional. I demand a refund.

Frustrating Experience with Order

I placed an order for records last year (December 28th) that I never received. After following up months later (late March this year), I was informed about stock issues but was promised my order would ship "soon". When I requested a specific timeline, I received no response. Now, I may need to dispute this order with my bank, which is very disappointing, especially since some artists have their merchandise directly linked to the platform.

Scamming, not jamming

It is a scam. Do not order. Last time I waited 10 months, writing multiple emails. Two months ago I was issued a credit to purchase another album. Still the same thing. I ordered an album that is listed as in stock and two months later there is no sign of any album and no replies to my emails.

MERCHBAR IS A SCAM - hopefully someone (preferably many people) don’t have their money stolen like I and thousands of others have…. If you send them money, here’s what to expect:In August 2024 I placed a simple order with Merchbar.What followed was FIFTEEN MONTHS of delays, scripted excuses, fake “escalations,” and still no product and no refund.Here’s how their system works — and how they keep your money:Step 1: Take your money. Never ship your order.I waited 9+ months. Asked monthly for updates.Nothing but copy-paste replies about “shipping slowdowns.”Step 2: When you ask for a refund, they refuse and force STORE CREDIT.They cancelled my order and issued store credit without my consent.I immediately rejected it — and this is where the real runaround began.Step 3: Delay, stall, and push you past PayPal’s 180-day protection window.This is key.By the time they “allowed” me to file a dispute, PayPal had already blocked it.Why? Because Merchbar had delayed for too long.Convenient for them. Not for anyone waiting on a refund.Step 4: Pretend to “escalate” the refund endlessly.Over the next six months I received emails saying: • “your refund is in the billing queue” • “we’re escalating this internally” • “we’re monitoring your case” • “high volume of requests” • “we appreciate your patience”Different names, same script.No progress. No manager’s contact. No accountability.Step 5: Ask for all your bank details… then do absolutely nothing.They requested: • bank name • bank address • full home address • SWIFT/BIC • IBAN • account number • full legal namesI provided everything immediately.Result?Another five months of silence and copy-paste “updates.”Still no refund.And today? November 2025?I STILL HAVE NEITHER THE GOODS NOR THE MONEY.15 months.Dozens of emails.Zero resolution.

Frustrating experience with unfulfilled order

Ordered a couple of vinyls in October 2024. After several requests for updates over the next couple of months, I received responses about 'heavy volume, will ship soon.' Eventually, I canceled the order. I was never refunded, even after filing a complaint where the company claimed they would reimburse me through another method. My last attempt for resolution was on 11/26/2025, but I received no reply. This service essentially takes customers' money without delivering.

Ordered vinyl on 28th of januari 2024, item was in backorder si website estimated 8 weeks delivery. Didn’t arrive after 10 weeks so emailed them and got a reply its still in backorder so they did not know when to ship.In november (10 months after I pair for my order) I emailed customer support again and got the same reply as before but this time I got offered a refund. I decided to wait since I really wanted the vinyl I ordered.Now almost 2 years later I still got nothing, never got an email to keep me updated about my order.So I replied to the initial email that I demand a refund, that was over a week ago, no reply. So I cancelled my order through their website wich creates a new email. Again no reply and my order is still on their website active as backorder.Funny fact is that the same vinyl is still available on their website to order with an estimated delivery time of 8 weeks!My advise, stay as far away from merchbar as possible.

NOT TRUSTWORTHY

Placed an order back in Jan of 2023 I was told it was on back order on December 2024 I cancelled the order tired of waiting. I tried Canceling the order in August of 2025 and getting a refund I received an email that it was pending its December 2025 and still no refund. BUYER BEWARE!!!!
