It's been fun watching the oyster mushrooms grow we've had equivalent too I'd guess 4 shop punnets....a couple more on the way but to be honest if you want value for money with loads of mushrooms don't bother ...this is an honest review fun but won't buy again

I’m sensing that they’re building up to blaming us for the lack of growth

We purchased two oyster mushroom kits, one yellow and one pink. There is no growth at all from the yellow one, although the pink was very good and grew almost immediately. ‘Is the room too cold? Are you giving too much water? Are you giving too little water? Can we have a photo of the room?’ Both kits have been treated EXACTLY the same - one grew and one didn’t. At the end of the day, the bottom line is that these mushrooms are supposed to be EASY to grow! I don’t want to be forced to spend time ago agonising over whether or not I’m doing things properly.Incidentally, I checked out the reviews on their website before purchasing and they seemed more positive than the ones on Trustpilot. I could be wrong, but I suspect no one has ever received a refund from them.PS Thank you for your reply, but we have sent you photos and followed your instructions. Still no growth, I’m afraid.

Great mushrooms!

The Lions Mane mushrooms have grown really well and taste great! Merryhill's customer service was excellent and quickly sorted a delivery issue for me. Would definitely buy from them again.

Bought three kits

Bought three kits, pink oyster mushrooms grew well, but only one harvest, Yellow oyster only one hole had some growth. We are still waiting on Lion Mane. Most expensive mushrooms on the planet. Never again

Read the Instructions

Currently enjoying a great crop of white and chestnut mushrooms. Initially placed the boxes in totally the wrong place/temp, emailed Merryhill with phots, who very quickly responded and put me right. this resulted in rapid growth of tasty mushrooms. Thank you Keiran for your advice and guidance, I will be back to order more.

I've grown my own Lion's mane to…

I've grown my own Lion's mane to support my ADHD and I can say this company's mushrooms really do grow- I've had 3 different crops from 1 box, I even put it outside after the first 2 crops and it's grown another load of mushrooms!!

Disappointed

We brought the Chestnut Mushroom kit and started it on 25.12.24. Sadly it amounted to nothing even though we followed the instructions carefully and did exactly what it said. We thought maybe it is a bad batch? The customer service was absolutely appalling, they were rude and did not care, not that I asked for one but did not offer a full refund, they wanted evidence of the room it was in and offered a new kit but we had to pay for delivery! I would not recommend this company.
