Review Time
Recently purchased from this company although I had an issue with delivery (delivery companies fault) their response time was ridiculously faster than I ever expected!Looking forward to seeing what results come from the kits!And from reading on their website, you have help on hand if needed.I definitely would recommend purchasing from here based on the customer service alone.
I had to contact the company and the response was quick and my problem dealt with quickly and professionally. My order was well packaged and the boxes the kits were in were robust and very attractive. I would not hesitate to use Merryhill Mushrooms again.
Like another post on this forum I am very disappointed I purchased two kits. Followed instructions to the letter and had two mushrooms from one box and none from other. Seems to be a theme here?At £21 a mushroom it’s a bit expensive, save your money!
As per another one star review I had the same experience. Two mushrooms eventually appeared (took way longer than described) followed by one and then another single mushroom. Despite following all the instructions and contacting the company for help, not even a first crop let alone a second crop. The four I had were delicious but it was hugely disappointing. When contacted, the company were polite but they wanted to shirk responsibility and pass the blame requesting details of purchase, growing conditions, photos, temperatures etc and their conclusion was it was too hot and the two original mushrooms were a pre-crop. After waiting double the expected time, no crop arrived. The only thing that arrived was a plethora of fruit flies.Don’t waste your time or money.
Wow the best gift I have ever gifted .Sent direct for a Christmas gift and I'm receiving photo updates as they grow. Day 9 and he's enjoying a large bowl of shiitake mushrooms with his curry. There's lots more growing as yet and the other I can't think of the type are growing away great also. I'm happy my friend has really enjoyed a different gift. I will definitely order more in the future 😊
