Review Time
Very expensive for a place that is literally falling to bits. Building needs a complete makover inside an out, bowling balls all have divots in them,. Took my lad out of peak Times and paid £18 for 1 games which lasts about 20 mins
Enjoyed the bowling, but , This place looks what it is very tired and run down where to start .Today was mayday bank holiday 2 staff running the bowling and bar and food . Can’t fault them they were trying so hard.bowls falling down because of faulty machinery, dull lighting, and this made me smile a vending machine with just one food product in it .I probably will go back again because I like bowling but please spend a bit of money on the place it could be a gold mine
Our lane was faulty, scoring system not working properly and kept mixing up who's go it was. Also fancied a game of pool so asked at the desk, hit with a £10 deposit in cash for the cues (awkward but no problem). Only had £8 cash on me so asked if that would be okay - given we were pretty much the only people in there on a quiet weekday and clearly weren't about to run off with 2 old cues that didn't even come with chalk. To my astonishment I was told no, and even told the nearest place to get cash out is Morrison's - a 20 minute walk. All because I was £2 short on a £10 deposit. Not sure if this was a strange power trip or overly strict orders from above. Either way I won't be coming back sadly, which is a shame because it has so much potential. Also you only get 2 hours free parking and once expired you can only pay by ringing a mobile number then downloading an app - needless to say it's easier to do a rubix cube and I couldn't work it out.
